Abstract: A system for the continuous production of a liquid fertilizer is provided. The system operates by feeding a compost material at a continuous rate to an extractor. The extractor uses a belt system to convey the compost along a path. Sprayers above the belt spray water or similar liquid water based substance onto the compost. The water absorbs nutrients and other components of the compost and is then drained through the belt to a receptacle to store the liquid fertilizer.
