Abstract:
A multi-port optical connection terminal for use as a branch point in a fiber optic communications network at a distance from a mid-span access location provided on a distribution cable having a plurality of optical fibers. The multi-port terminal includes a base and a cover affixed to the base. A stub cable port formed through one of the base and the cover receives a stub cable having at least one optical fiber extending continuously from the multi-port terminal to the mid-span access location. A first end of the optical fiber is optically connected to a respective optical fiber of the distribution cable at the mid-span access location and a fiber optic connector is mounted upon the second end. At least one connector port is provided on the multi-port terminal for receiving the fiber optic connector and a connectorized end of a fiber optic drop cable extending from the multi-port terminal.
Abstract:
A cable support arm is provided. In one embodiment, the cable support arm includes first and second arm sections that are rotatably coupled one over the other at a hinge structure. In this embodiment, the first and second arm sections include attachment mechanisms configured to couple the arm sections to a respective housing and device. One of the attachment mechanisms of this embodiment may include a mounting base and a mounting bracket that is reversibly coupleable to the mounting base to enable ambidextrous mounting of one of the arm sections to the device.
Abstract:
A controlled release dosage form has a coated core with the core comprising a drug-containing composition and a water-swellable composition, each occupying separate regions within the core. The drug-containing composition comprises a low-solubility drug and a drug-entraining agent. The coating around the core is water-permeable, water-insoluble and has at least one delivery port therethrough. A variety of formulations having specific drug release profiles are disclosed.

Abstract:
A closure system is provided with a peripheral wall (e.g., as defined either by a top portion of a container for extending from, and defining, an opening or as defined by a separate closure body for extending from a container). The peripheral wall has a laterally inwardly extending sealing member. A lid is provided for being moved from an open position to a closed position on the peripheral wall. The lid has a flange with a peripheral sealable surface for being engaged by the sealing member of the peripheral wall to effect a seal.
Abstract:
Teeth whitening is disclosed using a wand applicator that may apply a whitening composition directly to the one or more teeth to be whitened. The teeth whitening may include capping a whitening composition container with a wand applicator. Kits and whitening compositions for the same are also disclosed.

A mounting device for securing an electronic device to an equipment rack includes a mounting member and a securing device mounted on an end thereof.
Abstract:
A battery powered high-intensity illumination device enclosed in a waterproof housing is adapted for removable attachment to a surface adjacent to a lock. Upon removing the device from the surface, one may easily transport it in the palm of one's hand or in a pocket, because of its compact, ergonomic size and shape. Activation of the device may be automatic, triggered by motion detection or a touch-sensitive switch. An internal shutoff timing circuit ensures hands free operation and energy efficiency. Angular adjustment allows the housing to be rotated so as to fixably alter the angle of the light beam with respect to the illumination target. A reflector allows the light source to be shielded from view and for light output to be focused on an area of interest. The size, shape, and appearance of the lock light are appealing and unique features of the device.
Abstract:
A dispenser is provided for dispensing tablets. The dispenser generally includes a housing and a compartment. The compartment is pivotable with respect to the housing between a dispensing position and a non-dispensing position. The dispenser may also include a biasing member to bias the compartment to the non-dispensing position and a rib to resist accidental pivoting of the compartment.
