摘要: An interactive graphical user interface for navigating an electronic textbook includes nodes and connectors connecting the nodes. The nodes may correspond to items of educational content, and the connectors may correspond to a plurality of paths through the nodes. As a user navigates through the electronic textbook, the user may be presented with a custom map of the electronic textbook. A path of traversal may be permanently stored.

摘要: An electronic publication environment includes nodes containing items of educational content, and a plurality of paths through the nodes. Each path represents a different organization of the nodes in the electronic textbook. The paths are tailored to the educational needs of the users of the electronic textbook. As a user traverses the nodes of the electronic textbook, the user creates a personalized path. The user can add comments to the nodes and connections of this path. These paths and associated comments are made available to other users of the electronic textbook.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, employed within a robotics system. In one aspect, a robotics system includes an interface; an output; a processor; and a computer-readable storage device coupled to the processor and having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the processor, cause processor to perform operations comprising: providing, through the interface, a simulation of the robotics system described by a Ubiquitous Simulation Model (USM) and depicted within a simulated environment; receiving a command through the interface; determining an applicable module configured to operate skills and knowledge for the command based on the USM and the simulated environment; processing the command with the module and the USM to determine an appropriate action, wherein the action is determined based on a coherent mode of conduct and self-presentation modeled for the robotics system; and performing the action with the output.

摘要: Provided herein are methods and systems for multi-person authentication and validation systems for sharing of images. The multi-person authentication and validation system may identify the respective representations of one or more individuals captured in an image, and request authorization for sharing the image from the one or more individuals captured in the image. In some instances, the multi-person authentication and validation system may provide a different image version for sharing if at least one of the one or more individuals denies authorization.

摘要: A system and related systems for detecting and diagnosing fault of a robot is provided. The method comprises: performing simulations according to robot control commands; calculating discrepancy between actual performance of robot based on the control commands and the results generated by the simulation, wherein a presence of discrepancy is indicative of fault; performing diagnostic exercises according to the discrepancy to identify a cause of the fault.
