Abstract:
A debris shunting awning assembly, for an undercarriage in a ground engaging track system for a track-type machine includes an awning having a plurality of segmental plates with an assembly configuration at which the plates are coupled with the inboard side of a track roller frame and span a clearance between the track roller frame and a main frame of the track-type machine. The awning assembly is configured to direct debris through a debris path extending through a portion of a track system for the track-type machine.

Abstract:
A multiblade rotary lawnmower is disclosed that includes a pair of rotary blade members that are located in tandem relation but are disposed such that the swath of cut of the rear blade member overlaps with the swath of cut of the forward blade member, the rear blade member also fine cutting the area that is first cut by the first blade member and further mulching the grass and vegetation as cut thereby.
Abstract:
A speed shifting mechanism for a pneumatic wrench or nutsetter comprises a planetary gear arrangement in the drive mechanism of the wrench in which the planet gear carrier is connected to the driver clutch member of a torque responsive clutch and the planetary ring gear is mounted in a one way clutch to provide for unidirectional rotation of the ring gear. The torque responsive clutch is of the sloping tooth type and the driving clutch member is connected to a piston having opposing faces and fitted in the tool housing to form opposed fluid chambers. Pressure fluid is admitted to one of the chambers at a controlled pressure to act on the piston for holding the clutch in the engaged condition. Movement of the driving clutch member at torque causes pressure fluid at the controlled pressure to be vented and the opposite chamber to become pressurized thereby acting on the clutch to disengage and enable the planetary gear arrangement to become operative to reduce the output speed of the wrench.
Abstract:
An attachment assembly for use with a vehicle includes an arm support assembly and an attachment interface assembly pivotally mounted to the arm support assembly. The attachment interface assembly includes an interface plate configured to accept a work attachment. The attachment interface assembly and interface plate pivots under the influence of respective lift and tilt actuators. The attachment interface assembly is removable from the arm support assembly, and the actuators are pivotable into stowed positions, upon removing a pin that attaches the lift actuator piston rod to the attachment interface assembly, a pin that attaches the tilt actuator piston rod to the interface plate, and a pin that pivotally attaches the attachment interface assembly to the arm support assembly. The pins may be used to secure the actuators in the stowed positions, and an additional clip may be used to secure one or both of the actuators in the stowed position.
Abstract:
A utility pole mold including an elongated, hollow mold body having an internally tapered end and a reservoir extending radially out therefrom. A reusable barrier member is detachably secured to the at least one wall opposite the tapered end for containing a molten metal within the reservoir. In use, a lance is inserted into the mold body and a pouring end of the lance is positioned about the reservoir. The mold body and reservoir are then rotated, and the molten metal is poured from the pouring end at a constant rate. As the lance travels along the length of the mold body at an accelerating rate, a continuous layer of the molten material is deposited within the mold body and the reservoir. Following casting, the barrier is removed from the reservoir, and the newly formed utility pole is removed from mold. That portion of the pole that was formed within the reservoir portion is then removed to provide a pole having a bottom end with a desired wall thickness and interior taper.
