The present invention relates to a method for preparing instant dried scorched rice with excellent resilience, comprising washing a mixture of nonglutinous rice and glutinous rice, followed by soaking, adding polygonatum concentrate and rice starch, as a separate process, to the washed rice to prepare rice cooking water, followed by performing rice cooking to prepare cooked rice, mixing the cooked rice with purified water in a scorched rice forming apparatus to prepare scorched rice and grinding to prepare instant dried scorched rice. As the instant dried scorched rice prepared according to the method of the present invention has an internal texture having a developed network structure, and the scorched rice exhibits superior spreading and soft texture and the starch of the scorched rice is easily eluted to provide a predetermined turbidity, and to enrich the inherent flavor as well, and also the scorched rice soup exhibits superior qualities, comparable to traditional homemade scorched rice soup, and can be stored for a long period of time, thus being considerably useful for the food industry.

A method and system are provided that can automatically discover related images and recommend them. It uses images that occur on the same page or are taken by the same photographer for image discovery. The system can also use semantic relatedness for filtering images. Sentiment analysis can also be used for image ranking and photographer ranking.

In a plasma display, a drain of a first transistor is connected to a scan electrode, and a source of the first transistor is connected to a power source supplying a first voltage. First and the second resistors are connected in series with the scan electrode and the power source. A scan electrode driver turns on the first transistor during a reset period to decrease a voltage of the scan electrode. A scan electrode driver senses the voltage of the electrode from a voltage divided by first and second resistors connected in series between the electrode and the power source. Upon the voltage of the scan electrode becoming a second voltage which is higher than the first voltage, the scan electrode driver turns off the first transistor to maintain the voltage of the scan electrode at the second voltage. In an address period, a scan electrode driver supplies the first voltage to the scan electrode of a light emitting cell. At least one resistor of the first and second resistors is a variable resistor in which resistance varies as the temperature of the Plasma Display Panel (PDP) varies, such that the plasma display can perform steady operation.

Disclosed herein is a failure detecting method for a steering angle sensor that detects a turning angle, turning direction and central position of a steering wheel of a vehicle. It is determined whether the steering angle sensor has failed using traveling behavior of the vehicle, and therefore, the failure of the steering angle sensor is effectively detected even when the steering angle center or the turning angle is incorrectly detected. Also, it is determined whether the steering angle sensor has failed using characteristic differences among pulse signals of the sensor, and therefore, three pulse signals output from the steering angle sensor are effectively detected although any of the pulse signals has failed, whereby the vehicle is stably traveled.

The backlight unit includes a light emitting device module, a reflective plate including at least two slopes configured to reflect light emitted from the light emitting device module to an optical member, and the optical member to transmit the light directed from the light emitting device module and the reflective plate. The slope located farther from the light emitting device module has a greater gradient with respect to a horizontal plane than the slope located closer to the light emitting device module.

An equipment controlling system and a controlling method thereof are disclosed. The system includes a first controller connected to equipments of a first group to monitor and control operations of the equipments; and a second controller connected to equipments of a second group to monitor and control operations of the equipments; the first controller emergently controlling the equipments of the second group when the second controller malfunctions, and the second controller emergently controlling the equipments of the second group when the first controller malfunctions. When control problem of equipments such as indoor and outdoor unit due to malfunction of a controller is solved, a systemic and consistent control are enabled by consistently controlling the equipments so that control efficiency is enhanced and the equipments are kept in operating to provide a comfortable condition and an improved convenience to a user.

A plasma display device and a driving method is provided. An inverse gamma corrector generates a first video signal by mapping an input video signal to an inverse gamma curve, and an address APC unit determines an address power consumption level of the first video signal. When the address power consumption level is high, the address APC unit outputs a gamma gain to the inverse gamma corrector to generate a second inverse gamma curve by multiplying the inverse gamma curve by the gamma gain. and A second video signal is generated by mapping the input video signal to the second inverse gamma curve. When the address power consumption level of the second video signal is low, a controller of the plasma display device generates address data and a sustain pulse. This way, the address power consumption level of the displayed image can be reduced.

The present invention relates to a process for preparing rice gruel in an aseptic package, whereby original soft texture and taste of grains of rice can be conserved or an extended period of time and protected from microbial contamination. The preparation process of rice gruel includes the steps of: rinsing raw ice and immersing the rice in water; putting the rice in a heat resistant plastic bowl and sterilizing at 130-150° C. for 4-8 seconds four to ten times repeatedly; adding cooking water into the bowl in an aseptic space and cooking the rice; and sealing and wrapping the bowl. By adding the cooking water at two separate times, namely before the cooking process and the wrapping process, the liquid food's unique taste and texture can be maximized.

The present invention relates to a nitride semiconductor device and a method for fabricating the same. According to the present invention, there is an advantage in that trenches isolating respective nitride semiconductor unit devices from one another are filled with crack-inhibiting walls to remove voids, thereby minimizing cracks or damage that may occur in the nitride semiconductor unit devices during a laser lift-off process.In addition, there is an advantage in that the devices are bonded through a bonding-reinforcing plate or the crack-inhibiting walls to a carrier substrate with a bonding member coated thereon, thereby maintaining a strong bonding force to the carrier substrate.

A display panel has a plurality of pixels, each of the pixels comprising two green cells, a red cell and a blue cell. The red cell or the blue cell is disposed between the two green cells. The display panel uses red-green-blue gray level data with respect to each of the pixels. A method of driving the display panel comprises: (a) summing red gray level data for two adjacent pixels of the red-green-blue gray level data, and applying the summation result to the red cell; (b) applying green gray level data for the two adjacent pixels of the red-green-blue gray level data to the two green cells; and (c) summing blue gray level data for the two adjacent pixels for the red-green-blue gray level data, and applying the summation result to the blue cell.
