摘要： A plasma display device and driving method generate a control signal based on an image signal from an external source and a mode signal from a mode input unit, and output a driving waveform based on the control signal, the driving waveform used to drive a plasma display panel of the plasma display device. The driving waveform may be changed from a parent waveform mode into a child waveform mode selected from a plurality of child waveform modes defining misdischarge prevention waveforms in accordance with the mode signal.
