Abstract:
A display device includes a display module, a light source module and a guiding optical film. The display module includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a display medium. The light source module generates directional light. The display module has a vertical electric field. The display medium is optically isotropic, and the display medium is optically anisotropic when driven by the vertical electric field. The directional light is not perpendicular to the first substrate when the directional light enters the display nodule. The directional light is not perpendicular to the second substrate when the directional light exits the display module. The guiding optical film is disposed on the second substrate and has a light incident surface and a light emitting surface. After the directional light exits the guiding optical film, emitting light is formed, and the emitting light and the light emitting surface has an included angle there between.

A lamp driving device is provided for driving plural lamps. The lamp driving device includes a power conversion circuit and plural lamp connectors. The power conversion circuit is capable of converting an input voltage into a first DC voltage, and outputting a first current having a constant current value. The plural lamp connectors are serially connected with each other, and have respective positive terminals and respective negative terminals connected with corresponding lamps, thereby outputting respective output voltages and respective output currents to corresponding lamps. The first DC voltage is subject to voltage-division to obtain the output voltages, and the magnitudes of the output voltages from the lamps are substantially identical.

The present invention discloses a self-calibration method for an electric power steering system, which can self-calibrate the sensors to a normalized state to prevent from signal distortion, whereby to maintain stable steering sense of the driver and promote robustness and performance of the EPS system. The self-calibration method includes a signal offset compensation tactic and a zero-point signal self-calibration tactic. The present invention determines whether to undertake self-calibration according to judgement tactics, including a sensor power supply judgement tactic, a sensor correctness judgement tactic, and a self-calibration triggering condition. The self-calibration method can increase the correctness of sensors, maintain the original steering-assisting function and promote robustness of the EPS system.

A vehicle stability control method is to be performed by a vehicle stability control system of a motor vehicle, and includes the steps of: detecting an actual yaw rate, and obtaining a plurality of detection values by detecting a vehicle speed and a steering wheel angle, and at least one operation status selected from a lateral acceleration status, a load status and a steering wheel angular speed status; obtaining a plurality of intermediate weight values, from which a steering characteristic value is determined, based on the obtained detection values; obtaining a target yaw rate based on the vehicle speed, the steering wheel angle and the steering characteristic value; and controlling steering of road wheels according to difference between the target and actual yaw rates.
Abstract:
An apparatus for generating and managing logical units (LUNs) in a storage network environment is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, such an apparatus includes an identification module to identify a type of LUN, one or more servers that will access the LUN, and a storage system that will host the LUN. A mapping module maps the type, the one or more servers, and the storage system to one more abbreviations. A naming module then generates a LUN name that encapsulates the abbreviations. An assignment module may then assign the LUN name to the LUN. A corresponding method and computer program product are also disclosed herein.
Abstract:
The three β-neurexins have similar roles in synaptogenesis and interact with the neuroligins. Mutations located within the gene encoding neurexin 1 have been identified as molecular markers associated with autism and autism-related disorders. The estimated attributable risk is 2%. The invention provides methods of diagnosing or predicting susceptibility to developing autism in an individual by determining the presence or absence of one or more genetic variant of a neurexin 1 gene in an individual.
Abstract:
A power supply circuit for receiving an input voltage and outputting a driving voltage to at least one LED string. The power supply circuit includes a rear-stage converting circuit and a control circuit. The rear-stage converting circuit is used for receiving the input voltage and converting the input voltage into a compensating voltage. The control circuit is connected to the rear-stage converting circuit and the LED string for detecting the magnitude of a current passing through the LED string, thereby controlling the current passing through the LED string to be identical. The driving voltage is outputted from the power supply circuit. The driving voltage is a summation of the input voltage and the compensating voltage.
