Abstract:
A duct for distributing one or more telecommunication lines comprises an elongated body having a length and a conduit portion with a lengthwise bore formed therein. The conduit portion contains one or more telecommunication lines. The duct also includes a flange extending lengthwise adjacent the main body to mount the duct to a mounting surface, such as a wall. The duct also includes an adhesive layer disposed on a surface of the flange, the adhesive layer comprising a removable adhesive to permit removal of the duct from the mounting surface after mounting.
Abstract:
A stretch releasable adhesive article includes first and second opposed major surfaces and a pull tab, and at least a portion of at least one of the first and second major surfaces is adhesive. The adhesive article has a cross-sectional area—as measured normal to the axis defined by a stretch release force applied to the pull tab during the stretch release process—that has a defined width to thickness ratio, and the adhesive article may have a visible light transmission of at least about 90%, and a haze of no greater than 5%.
Abstract:
A stretch releasing adhesive article for mounting on a wall surface includes an elongated stretch releasing adhesive strip having a first major surface with a non-adhesive contact surface adjacent the first end, and a backplate having a first major surface including a protrusion arranged in overlapping relation with the adhesive strip non-adhesive contact surface that serves to concentrate a force applied by a user in the region of the first end of the backplate in the region of the non-adhesive contact surface of the adhesive strip. A method of adhesively mounting an item to, and removing an item from, a wall surface that is susceptible to damage without damaging the surface is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Conformable pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes which comprise a layer of polymeric foam in the backing and may be adhered firmly to a substrate and thereafter removed therefrom after only being stretched at an angle no greater than about 35° from the surface of the substrate. Articles for mounting an object such as a picture to a surface such as a wall comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the invention are also described.
Abstract:
A multi-layer assembly that includes a release liner, a first layer disposed on the release liner, the first layer including a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that includes a silicone polymer that includes silicone polyurea block copolymers, polydiorganosiloxane polymers, or combinations thereof, a second layer disposed on the first layer, the second layer including a composition that includes an elastomer, the composition of the second layer being different from the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the first layer, the first layer of the multi-layer assembly exhibiting a release force to the release liner of no greater than 100 gram per 0.5 inch width after the multi-layer assembly has been stored for 46 days at 120° F.

Abstract:
A horizontally mounted shelf assembly includes an elongated support rail, at least one accessory slidaby connected with the support rail, and at least one stretch releasing adhesive strip arranged between the support rail and the wall for securing the shelf assembly to the wall. Each accessory may also be separately mounted on the wall using stretch releasing adhesive strips.
Abstract:
A stretch releasing pressure sensitive adhesive tape includes a silicone pressure sensitive adhesive composition that exhibits a 180° peel strength on a glass substrate at 98% relative humidity of at least about 5.47 N/dm and a non-tacky tab. A stretch releasing pressure sensitive adhesive tape includes a pressure sensitive adhesive composition having a modulus at 1 radian/second and −17° C. of no greater than about 1×107 Pa and a non-tacky tab.
