    摘要: An approach is provided that receives input from multiple data sources and transforms it into a common, intermediate format, where only one generic parser is required for the purpose of transformation into RDF, and the subsequent input to a triplestore database. A triplestore management tool provides this capability. The triplestore management tool includes a formatting component configured to receive data sources from a plurality of data source parsers, and transform each of the data sources into a single format. A parsing component parses each transformed data source at a common parser, and loads each of the transformed data sources from the common parser to a triplestore database.

    摘要: A database search method and system utilize user community defined facets and facet values for refining searches. The system provides access to a database having a plurality of records in respective categories of information. Each record has one or more facets to the respective category of information. The system enables user input of a search term formed of a first parameter indicative of at least one category of information of the database. In response to the user input, the invention system displays (a) a set of search results, including records from the database of the at least one category of information, and (b) a listing of facets and/or facet values of the records in the search results. The listing of facets and/or facet values serve as suggested additional parameters for further refining the search terms or guiding user navigation of the database. In response to user selection of a facet value from the listing, the system refines the search term resulting in a refined search term formed of the first parameter plus the user selected facet and/or facet value. A search of the database is rerun using the refined search term. The facets and facet values are defined by a computer network community of users over time and through use of the network community portal. Another embodiment is an advertising engine that displays targeted advertisements to the user based on refined search. Another embodiment is a method that utilizes refined search to help the user with navigation of a site (e.g., website or other computer network site) as a component of a GUI.

    摘要: A Source Code Author Identifier (SCAI) automates the process of manually running a comparison to identify changes between versions of a source code file and associates identified changes with the author who made the change. After a developer identifies a segment of code in a first file, wherein the first file as a newer version of a second file, SCAI compares the segment of code in the first file to a corresponding segment of code in the second file. SCAI identifies the author of the first file whenever a difference is detected between the segment of code in the first file and the corresponding segment of code in the second file. SCAI displays the author of the first file next to the detected difference between the segment of code from the first file and the corresponding segment of code from the second file. SCAI can repeat the comparison across a plurality of versions of the file, comparing each version with the previously created version.

    摘要: The invention meeting the need identified above is the “Enhanced Database Propagation Program” or (EDPP). EDPP uses a cyclic member table that identifies a first source table in a cyclic relationship with a second source table. The first source table, identified in the cyclic member table, propagates first. EDPP replaces all foreign keys with “NULL” in the first target table. After the second source table in the subscription set has propagated to a second target table, EDPP updates first target table with the foreign keys from the first source table.
