    摘要: A continuous one-stage process for producing silicon-containing ferro alloys consists in making up of a charge comprising quartzite and a briquetted mixture of an ore carrying an alloying element of the alloy to be produced with a carbonaceous reducing agent comprising a carbon content 1.03 to 1.25 times as low as that sufficient for the reduction of all the elements in the charge, and 2 to 15 times as high as that sufficient for the reduction of the alloying element and subsequent smelting the resultant charge in a smelting furnace.
