The apparatus comprises an eject lever for ejecting the cartridge from the tape player and an electromagnetic latch device adapted to latch the eject lever in a depressed position. The latch device comprises a movable member operatively connected to the eject lever, a magnet and a ferromagnetic lever pivotally connected to the movable member and being engageable with the magnet when the eject lever is in the depressed position. The ferromagnetic lever is configured to provide a mechanical advantage to the magnet for holding the eject lever in the depressed position.

摘要： A direct current motor having armature windings which are superposed on each other in double layers. The motor includes a fixed field magnet having 2mn poles (m being a positive integer of 1 or more, n being a positive integer of 2 or more) which are magnetized alternately to N and S polarities in equal angular spaces, a magnetic material member for closing the magnetic path of the field magnet, a rotating shaft supported by bearings provided in the housing of motor, and an armature which is secured to the shaft for rotation in the magnetic path and facing the field magnet poles. A first series of m(2n+1) armature windings are mounted on the armature and are juxtaposed with respect to each other at equal pitches, the angular spacing between the conductor portions, which contribute to generate torque, of the armature winding being equal to the angular width of the field magnet pole. A second series of m(2n+1) armature windings are also mounted on the armature and are juxtaposed with respect to each other at equal pitches, the angular spacing between the conductor portions, which contribute to generate torque, of the armature winding of the second series also being equal to the angular width of the field magnet pole. The first series of the m(2n+1) armature windings and the second series of the m(2n+1) armature windings are superposed on each other and are disposed, with respect to each other, out of phase by 1/(2n-1) of the angular width of the field magnet pole.

摘要： A tape player utilizing a plurality of endless magnetic tape cartridges, comprising a rotatable container accommodating the plurality of endless magnetic tape cartridges, a container latch means for arresting rotation of the container to position the cartridge to be played in a predetermined position, a swingable reciprocating deck provided with a capstan and a reproducing member for playing the cartridge held in the playing position such as a magnetic head or the like, a deck latch means for retaining the reciprocating deck at a position where the cartridge in the playing position is played, a tension spring for moving the reciprocating deck which has been released from the deck latch means to the direction away from the cartridge, a deck moving means moving the cartridge to a position where it is played by rotation of the capstan against the bias of the tension spring, and a means for positioning another cartridge in the playing position by rotation of the capstan while the deck is being moved by the deck moving means to a position where the cartridge is played whereby the cartridge is suitably played by controlling rotation of the container and movement of the reciprocating deck.

摘要： An endless magnetic tape playing time indicating apparatus for an endless magnetic tape player is provided with pointer means rectilinearly moved by rotatable force of a rotary drive capstan for driving the tape, and indicator means including scale means corresponding to the pointer means. Provided between the pointer means and the rotary capstan are a speed reducing device decelerating rotation of the capstan, drum means rotatably driven through the speed reducing device by the capstan, and a flexible stringy member taken up by the drum means with rotation of the capstan, the pointer means being rectilinearly moved when the flexible stringy member is wound on the drum means. The flexible stringy member is drawn from the drum means whenever the magnetic tape completes one cycle to thus return the pointer means to its starting position.
