摘要: A transmitter provides an optical signal for transmitting a quantum key over a network. The transmitter comprises a first generator configured to generate a quantum signal, the quantum signal comprising a sequence of frames. The transmitter comprises a second generator configured to generate a pilot signal. The pilot signal comprises a sequence of signatures that is in synchrony with the sequence of frames. The transmitter comprises an optical modulator configured to generate the optical signal by modulating an optical carrier based on the quantum signal and the pilot signal. A corresponding receiver is proposed for receiving the optical signal and for extracting the quantum key.

摘要: The proposed method for localizing a target sound source from a plurality of sound sources, wherein a multi-channel recording signal of the plurality of sound sources comprises a plurality of microphone channel signals, comprises converting each microphone channel signal into a respective channel spectrogram in a time-frequency domain, blindly separating the channel spectrograms to obtain a plurality of separated source signals, identifying, among the plurality of separated source signals, the separated source signal that best matches a target source model, estimating, based on the identified separated source signal, a binary mask reflecting where the target sound source is active in the channel spectrograms in terms of time and frequency, applying the binary mask on the channel spectrograms to obtain masked channel spectrograms, and localizing the target sound source from the plurality of sound sources based on the masked channel spectrograms.

摘要: A continuous variable quantum key distribution system comprises a transmitter and a receiver. The first quantum signal has a first polarization and is associated with first quadrature components and the second quantum signal has a second polarization and is associated with second quadrature components. The receiver receives the quantum signals transmitted by the transmitter via a quantum communication channel; estimates a channel matrix representing the polarization rotation of the first and second polarization caused by the quantum communication channel; modifies the received first and second quantum signals on the basis of the polarization rotation; and uses the modified received first and second quantum signals for generating a secret key. The transmitter may modify the transmitted first quantum signal and the transmitted second quantum signal based on the polarization rotation and use the modified transmitted first quantum signal and the modified transmitted second quantum signal for generating a secret key.
