摘要： A socket for an electrical part has a socket body 14 and a contact pin 15. The contact pin 15 has a fixed portion 15e fixed to a through hole 14d of the socket body 14, a plate-like elastic pieces 15b extending upward from the fixed portion 15e and a contact portion 15c to contact the electrical part. The elastic piece 15b is elastically deformable along a plate surface of the elastic piece so as to cause the contact portion to contact to and separate from a terminal of the electrical part. A biting portion 15f formed between the fixed portion 15e and the contact portion 15c for biting a bitten portion 14h formed on an inner wall of the through hole 14d. When the biting portion 15f bites the bitten portion 14h, vertical movement of the contact pin 15 is restricted and also a preload is given to the elastic pieces 15b in a direction of closing the contact portion 15c of the elastic piece 15b.

摘要： A socket for an electrical part, such as IC socket, to be mounted on a printed circuit board is provided with a socket body, and a plurality of contact pins are mounted to the socket body so as to electrically connect the electrical part and the printed circuit board. The contact pin includes a base portion, an elastic piece extending upward from the base portion, a lead portion extending downward from the base portion, and a contact portion formed to a tip end of the elastic piece. The lead portion is inserted into an insertion hole formed to the printed circuit board. The contact pins are inserted into the socket body of the IC socket from the lower side thereof so that the base portion of each contact pin is fitted to a base portion fitting hole portion, and the base portion is pressed by a locating board disposed to the lower side of the socket body.

摘要： In a socket for an electric part, contact pin-operating bores 12 are provided in a slide plate 10 for opening contact pins 3, and operating grooves 14 are defined in the slide plate 10 and each have a tapered face 16. Operating arms 25 are disposed on an operating member 21 adapted to be engaged into the operating grooves 14 in the slide plate 10, so that the tapered faces 16 of the operating grooves 14 are urged by the operating arms 25 by urging the operating member 21 downwards, thereby directly moving the slide plate 10. Thus, the slide plate can be moved by a simple structure, and the socket can be manufactured easily and at a lower cost. In addition, the stability of contact of the contact pins with terminals can be enhanced.

摘要： A socket for an electric component may have a socket main body, a plurality of contact pins disposed within the socket main body, a socket cover, a slide plate disposed inside the socket main body to be movable up and down, and drive levers which are provided between the socket main body and the bottom face of the socket cover. The drive levers press both end portions of two opposing sides of the slide plate by a down-movement-operation of the socket cover to lower the slide plate. The socket may also include sub-levers provided between the socket main body and the bottom face of the socket cover for pressing one or plural positions of other opposing two sides of the slide plate, which oppose to each other in a direction perpendicular to the two opposing sides pressed by the drive levers to lower the slide plate.

摘要： The IC socket for electrical parts comprises a base plate, a tab film on the base plate on which an IC package is mounted and a pressing jig on the tab film for pressing the IC package toward the tab film. The tab film comprises an electrode pattern to be electrically connected with the IC package and a plate-like connecting electrode to be electrically connected with the base plate. To the base plate, contact pins are arranged. An upper end contact portion of the contact pin is protruded from an upper surface of the base plate for abutting on the connecting electrode. The pressing jig, tab film and base plate are detachably fixed by a bolt and nut and in this state the tab film is pressed by the pressing jig body so that the connecting electrode of the tab film elastically abuts on the upper end contact portion of the contact pin.
