摘要: A fuel property determining apparatus may comprise a first sensor and second sensor. The first sensor may detect a concentration of an alcohol contained in fuel. The second sensor may detect a vapor pressure of the target fuel. The fuel property determining apparatus may further comprise a memory and a processor. The memory may store first data for determining a “heavy/light gravity—vapor pressure” relationship based on the concentration of the alcohol. The processor may determine the fuel property of the target fuel based on the first data stored in the memory, the alcohol concentration detected by the first sensor, and the vapor pressure detected by the second sensor.

摘要: A flow control valve includes a seal member disposed within an annular space. The annular space is defined between at least one of bearing fitting portions of a flow path defining member and a corresponding valve shaft portion of a valve member opposing to each other in a radial direction with respect to an axis of the valve shaft portion and between an end face of a corresponding bearing and an end face of a valve body portion opposing to each other in a direction of the axis. The seal member can seal between the bearing fitting portion and the corresponding valve shaft portion with respect to the radial direction and can also seal between the corresponding bearing and the valve body portion with respect to the axial direction.

The self-tapping screw includes a male thread portion and an unthreaded column portion arranged relative to each other in a longitudinal direction of the self-tapping screw, and is threadably coupled to the casing through the through hole. The through hole includes a large diameter hole portion and a small diameter hole portion. The large diameter hole portion is engaged with the male thread portion. The small diameter hole portion is engaged with the unthreaded column portion. The large diameter hole portion has a longitudinal length shorter than a longitudinal length of the unthreaded column portion.

The detection stator is placed so that a surface of the detection part faces the detection rotor and the surface of the detection part faces to the inside of the motor housing in the mounting hole, and fixed to outside of the motor housing with a screw to the flange.

摘要: A butterfly valve comprises a valve shaft placed across a flow passage and a plate-like valve element provided on the valve shaft so as to be rotatable about the valve shaft to regulate a flow rate of fluid in the flow passage. The valve element has a section that gradually decreases in thickness from the valve shaft toward an outer edge in a direction nearly perpendicular to the valve shaft. The valve element further includes a plurality of inclined surfaces on each side so that the corresponding inclined surfaces on both sides of the valve element are identical in section in a direction parallel to the valve shaft. The valve element is provided on each side with a plurality of flow straightening ribs each extending in a direction perpendicular to the valve shaft and inclining along each inclined surface.

The valve seal surface and a contact surface are configured such that the valve seal surface sealingly contacts with the corresponding contact surface when a fully closed position of the valve has been displaced due to contraction of one of the main body and the valve member. The valve seal surface and the contact surface of the valve member in the fully closed position are inclined by an angle. The contact angle of inclination gradually decreases from a first point located on a circumference of the periphery of the valve member resulting from a line perpendicular to an intersection of the central axis and the rotation axis to a second point that is proximate to the rotation axis of the valve member.
