Abstract:
A facsimile mail system including subscriber terminals, an exchange and a facsimile mail apparatus. Given a request from a subscriber terminal for connection to the facsimile mail apparatus, the exchange adds an originator identification number to that necessary information about a mail service which is entered from the subscriber terminal. The necessary information supplemented by the originator identification number is transferred from the exchange to the facsimile mail apparatus where the information is converted to a mail function code for internal processing. As per internally stored information, the facsimile mail apparatus decides whether or not to permit the connection. When the connection is permitted, a connection enable response is returned to the exchange. In turn, the exchange establishes a line connection between the subscriber terminal in question and the facsimile mail apparatus.
Abstract:
A FAX receiving unit is an interface with the call originating FAX. A delivery management table is stored with a service code for designating a kind of a FAX mail service and a condition requested by the call originating FAX and also a telephone number of the destination FAX. A service subscriber table records the telephone number and the FAX-ID for every subscriber. A message accumulation unit stores the FAX message and the FAX-ID of the call originating FAX. A service control unit registers the delivery management table with the service code and the telephone number of the destination FAX received by the FAX receiving unit from a transmitting FAX and accumulates the FAX message and the FAX-ID of the call originating FAX in the message accumulation unit. The service control unit acquires a corresponding FAX-ID by retrieving the service subscriber table on the basis of the destination FAX telephone number of which the call originating FAX notifies and replies it to the call originating FAX. The service control unit, when the condition of the service code is satisfied, originates a call to the destination FAX and transmits the FAX message and the FAX-ID of the call originating FAX which have been stored in the message accumulation unit.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus with interframe interpolation capabilities for reproducing a sequence of video frames by performing a frame interpolation between two given video frame images to compensate for dropped frames. The image processing system comprises an outline detection unit to detect the outline of each moving object contained in a frame image and an affine parameter calculation unit to calculate first affine parameters based on the geometrical relationship between one outline image at a first point in time and another outline image at a second point in time. Based on the first affine parameters, an affine parameter interpolation unit performs a linear interpolation to produce second affine parameters corresponding to a third point in time between the first and second points in time. An interpolated image generation unit then applies an affine transformation to the object images at the first or second point in time, using the second affine parameters supplied from the affine parameter interpolation unit, thereby generating another frame image of each moving object at the third point in time.
