摘要： A door weather strip is attached round a circumferential edge of a door of an automotive vehicle. An extruded portion 7 which makes up mainly an upper side portion of the door weather strip includes an attaching base portion 15 which is fixed to an inner panel 5 with clip members 13, a hollow main seal portion 16 which is brought into press contact with a circumferential edge of a door opening, a sub-seal lip 25 which is brought into press contact with the circumferential edge of the door opening in a position lying further transversely outwards than the main seal portion 16, a back-side lip 26 which is brought into press contact with a flange portion 27 formed on the circumferential edge of the door, a draining lip 30 which is formed to extend from an external side wall portion 19 of the attaching base portion 15 so as to be brought into press contact with the flange portion 27 and a water stopping rib 33 which is provided on a base bottom portion 17 of the attaching base portion 15 in such a manner as to be brought into press contact with an attaching surface 5b of the inner panel 5.

摘要： A door weather strip includes a base attached along the outer periphery of a door frame and a hollow seal, and a clip attached to the base. The clip includes an engaging part fit in and enagageable with an attaching hole in the door frame and a retained part retained to the base. The retained part includes a retaining piece and a coupling portion coupling the center area of the retaining piece in the longitudinal direction and the engaging part. Using an inserting means equipped with an insertion pin which is nearly cylindrical and sharp-pointed, the insertion pin is pierced into the base so that the retaining piece is fed through the inner peripheral side of the insertion pin to the inner face side of the base, thereby attaching the clip to the base.

The base bottom portion and the vehicle exterior side wall portion and the base bottom portion and the vehicle interior side wall portion are respectively connected by deformed connecting portions. The deformed connecting portion is thin-walled more than the base bottom portion and the two side wall portions and constitutes substantially a J-like shape in a section thereof to provide a predetermined length in a width direction. At two corner portions of the glass run, the deformed connecting portions are deformed by being folded to bend at fold points, the base bottom portion is smoothly disposed on an inner peripheral side, and is continuously bent without providing a slit or a notch.

摘要： A weather strip 10 has a trim portion 20 and a hollow seal portion 40. The trim portion 20 is made up of an external sidewall 21, a bottom wall 23 and an internal sidewall 22 to thereby be given a substantially U-shaped cross section. 摘要： A door weatherstrip includes a mounted base portion which is mounted along an outer circumference of a door frame, and a seal portion which extends in an outer circumferential direction of a door from the mounted base portion. The mounted base portion includes a base bottom portion, a vehicle-interior side wall portion and a vehicle-exterior side wall portion, and an isolating wall portion. The mounted base portion is made from an EPDM sponge rubber material into which polyethylene is mixed to have a specific gravity of 0.2 or larger and smaller than 0.45 and a low expansion stress of 200 kPa or larger. The seal portion is made from an EPDM sponge rubber material having a specific gravity of 0.45 or larger and 1.0 or smaller and a low expansion stress of 120 kPa or larger and smaller than 200 kPa. Thus, the door weatherstrip is provided in which the specific gravity of the mounted base portion is made smaller than the specific gravity of the seal portion and a material rigidity of the mounted base portion is larger than a material rigidity of the seal portion.

The weather strip includes a trim portion having a generally U-shaped cross-section and a tubular seal portion. The trim portion includes an outer side wall, a bottom wall and an inner side wall, flange holding lips extend in an interior of the trim portion, and the tubular seal portion is formed near a center of an exterior surface of the bottom wall via a neck portion. An exterior surface of a corner portion between the bottom wall and the outer side wall, and an exterior surface of a corner portion between the bottom wall and the inner side wall are respectively formed to have an angle of 90° through 100°, angular parts of both the corner portions are formed with a radius of curvature of 0.2 mm through 2.0 mm, and the outer side wall, the bottom wall and the inner side wall respectively exhibit a JIS hardness of 75 through 100, and are respectively formed of a hard material of rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer with an apparent specific gravity of not less than 0.8.
