摘要： A device for preventing ice formation on parts of aircraft-support surfaces (wings or aerofoils), propellers, rotor blades or the like-comprises electrical resistance heaters embedded in a shell of thermally conducting material (e.g. aluminium sheet or moulding) sheathing the aircraft part. Thermally insulating, thermally conducting and electrically insulating layers may be provided within the shell. The heaters, or some of them, may be controlled by a temperature sensor in or on the shell.
