Abstract:
A rigid container made of plastics for receiving a solid or liquid concentrate for the preparation of a dialysis fluid for use in a dialysis machine, the container consisting of a base part and a lid part and being equipped with a first connector for feeding and a second connector for draining a liquid and for connecting to a dialysis machine, and being otherwise closed or closable in an airtight manner, is characterized in that the second connector is connected to an outlet line (3), the feeding opening of which is arranged near the bottom of the base part.
Abstract:
An apparatus proportions and dispenses at least two different plastic materials such as, two component adhesives or sealants in which the components are stored separately from one another before use and are mixed with one another only for use. The apparatus includes a multichamber cartridge made from injection-molded plastic with at least two cartridge tube wall parts located one inside the other to form at least two chambers that receive one material component each. An end wall part is located at the anterior end of the cartridge tube wall parts on which a mouthpiece for dispensing the plastic material components from the cartridge is formed. Piston elements are inserted in the rear end of the cartridge tube wall parts to express the material components. The end wall part is formed as a separate head piece and the cartridge tube wall parts likewise are formed from two separately manufactured parts. Snap connections are provided to connect the cartridge tube wall parts with the head piece. The invention allows the cartridge tube wall parts and the cartridge end wall part each to be manufactured separately, so that the required injection-molding tools can be very simple in design and inexpensive. The injection-molding tools for the tube wall parts do not require any lateral slide functions, and the necessity for residual lateral slide functions is reduced to the injection-molding tool for the relatively small cartridge end wall part.
Abstract:
In a bicarbonate container for one-time use with a hemodialysis apparatus which container consists of a bottom part with a trough for containing the bicarbonate, a cover for closing the trough and a two-channel plug-in connector for connection to a dialysis apparatus, the bottom part and the top part include flanges which are joined and form therebetween a conduit channel extending from one end of the container where the plug-in connector is disposed to the other end of the container for conducting liquid supplied through one of the plug-in connector channels through the bicarbonate filling of the trough of the container in which the bicarbonate is disposed to the other channel of the plug-in connector.
Abstract:
A cartridge stopper having a valve function, especially for printing ink cartridges made of plastic, includes a valve sleeve that is axially elastic and rests on a mouthpiece neck. The valve sleeve includes a sealing lip that cooperates with a central body, and can move elastically forward (open) when pressure is exerted on the cartridge contents in order to clear a slit opening between the mouthpiece neck and the central body.
Abstract:
A stepping motor is used to feed sheet stock to a blank making assembly in a container making process. A translator provides necessary pulses to the stepping motor and is controlled by a counter which is provided with a pulse train indicative of the number of pulses provided the stepping motor. The contents of the counter compensate for the number of pulses necessary to stop the motor which will be produced by the translator. Alternatively, a print registration indicia may be sensed to initiate deceleration of the stepping motor. The indicia is offset a predetermined distance from a point of proper registration in order to compensate for the distance necessary to decelerate the stepping motor.

Abstract:
In a mixing system for two-component cartridges having a neck section structure with an inner discharge channel and an outer tubular discharge channel for discharging first and second material components from first and second chambers of the cartridge, the inner discharge channel is provided with pockets extending into the outer discharge channel for dividing the second material flow into second material flow strands and a baffle plate is arranged centrally in front of the inner discharge channel for directing the inner material flow outwardly through the pockets in strands of the inner material component between strands of the outer material component, so that a pre-mixing of the material components occurs already directly at the openings of the discharge channels.

Abstract:
In a two chamber cartridge with chambers arranged axially one after the other, wherein the front chamber in a front part of the cartridge interior is divided by a double wall insert into an outer partial chamber and an inner partial chamber which are both closed at the rear ends by pistons and the rear chamber is formed by a beaker which is inserted into the rear of the cartridge and has a beaker bottom with a pin extending from the beaker bottom though an annular piston closing the beaker, the rear end of the double wall insert abuts the annular piston closing the beaker and the annular piston includes passages leading to gap between the two spaced walls of the double wall insert and the two front partial chambers and the intermediate space are in communication with a mouthpiece space at the front end of the cartridge.
