The connecting device has a substantially U-shaped cross-section, wherein free ends of legs (8) of the U-shaped cross-section extend inwardly so as to form grooves for receiving longitudinal sides of the wiper blade. At least one of the legs is provided with a hole (13) for receiving the pin, with the special feature that the pin is glued to an inner wall (25) of the hole or the pin is form-locked inside the hole.
