摘要： A system is designed to facilitate heat transfer via radiation, convection and conduction from components within the system to the external environment and housing. The system includes a thermally conductive plate positioned between a surface of the housing and one or more heat generating components within the housing. A compliant thermally conductive material may then be placed between the heat generating components and the plate to facilitate conductive heat transfer from the component to the plate. From the plate, heat is transferred to the external environment through radiation and convection of air through perforations in the housing which cover a substantial portion of the surface area of the housing. The housing may also be inexpensively manufactured through stamping and may include two mating pieces which interlock using chamfered electrostatic discharge fingers. The housing may also incorporate a metal shroud for enveloping certain ESD sensitive connectors, such as optical couplers.

摘要： A scraper conveyor has a channel having a pair of parallel and longitudinally extending upstanding sides and a chain extending longitudinally along the channel between the sides thereof and normally advanced therein in a travel direction. A chain-arresting system has a crosspiece fixable to the chain and having outer ends juxtaposed with the channel sides and each of a predetermined length measured in the direction. Respective blocks fittable with the sides of the channel are each formed with an inwardly open inner groove into which the respective end of the crosspiece can engage. An abutment in the groove has a rear face directed backward against the direction and engageable with the respective crosspiece end and an inner hole spaced in the direction rearward of the abutment face by a distance greater than the crosspiece-end length. Respective pins engageable through the inner holes behind the respective crosspiece ends trap same in the respective blocks.

The rail assembly is formed by a main rail fixed to the conveyor and forming a portion of the passage and a secondary rail fixed to the main rail and forming the rest of the passage. The secondary rail forms offset from the passage a horizontally outwardly open and longitudinally extending slot and the mining machine has a foot received in and longitudinally displaceable along the slot.

摘要： A rotary impact breaker has a housing and a rotor rotatable in the housing about an axis in a predetermined direction and formed with a radially outwardly open pocket having a generally radially extending front and back faces. An impact element has a foot part seated in the pocket and having a front face bearing against the front pocket face and a back face confronting and diverging from the back pocket face and a head part projecting radially from the pocket. A retaining wedge in the pocket has a front face bearing forwardly against the back element face and a back face backwardly against the back pocket face. A bolt engages radially from the wedge into the rotor and presses the wedge radially inwardly and thereby tightly lodges the wedge between the back element face and back pocket face.

摘要： A mining apparatus for coal with an endless chain revolving around chain wheels. A main drive is provided for one of the chain wheels and an auxiliary drive is provided for the other chain wheel. A transmission stage of the auxiliary drive is a superposed transmission unit. A controllable superposed motor with a worm gear transmission unit acts on the superposed input of the superposed transmission unit. The worm gear transmission unit includes two drive worms which are offset relative to each other by 180.degree. and mesh with the superposed input of the superposed transmission unit. As a result, the supporting moment load and the torque load or power distribution are cut in half, so that the worm gear transmission unit is not susceptible to trouble.

摘要： A conveyor chute for chain scraper conveyors which are adapted to overlie a floor of a mining seam, comprises, at least one chute section which has laterally spaced apart upright sidewalls located on a filling and forehead side of the conveyor. The bottom plate extends between the sidewalls and divides the chute section into upper and lower stringers. A forehead side of the chute has a chute foot which has a lower portion which extends laterally outwardly from its wall and has a male hinge portion on its inside face which engages with a female hinge portion which is attached to a baseplate which extends between the two sidewalls and rests on the mining seam floor. The opposite side of the baseplate may be fastened to the opposite sidewall either directly by use of an extension plate and fastening elements or with an intermediate shim therebetween.

摘要： A hauling system for underground operations for use in an excavation between a longwall having a mining face and a drift comprises a longwall conveyor which is adapted to be positioned along the longwall and a drift conveyor adapted to be positioned along the drift. A cycloid is positioned between the drift and the longwall conveyors and provides a connection transfer therebetween. A plurality of plane guiding profiles are disposed along the long wall and they provide means for the passage of chains of a chain drive which includes a drive motor and transmission and sprocket located on the side of the drift conveyor. A winning machine, such as a coal plane, is mounted for guiding movement over the profiles and, in order to facilitate its movement up to the location of the juncture of the longwall with the drift, there is provided a deflection device in the form of deflection sprockets for the upper and lower reaches of the endless chain conveyor which is adjustably mounted on a flange plate which is carried on the periphery of the cycloid conveyor between the drift and the longwall.

摘要： A double chain conveyor which is adapted to run in a conveyor trough which has a trough bottom in which it is guided, comprises first and second chains having interconnected horizontally and vertically arranged links which are adapted to run in the conveyor trough in spaced parallel relationship. The construction includes transversely extending drivers engaged over the chain link which have a central part with seating lugs which extend downwardly into engagement with the trough bottom. The driver also includes side portions on each side including a core which engages over the top and around the outer end of each horizontally disposed chain link to which it is connected. In addition, it has a cutout portion for accommodating the upper part of the vertical chain link which is connected to each side of the horizontal chain link to which it is connected. The construction also includes a yoke member having a bolt portion which extends through a bolt opening on respective sides of the driver and is secured to the driver by a nut member. The yoke includes a bearing arm portion which has a conical surface and which abuts against and supports the feeding lugs of the driver on each side. The yoke member includes, in addition, a bracket portion which extends below and supports the horizontal chain link between adjacent vertical links.

摘要： A chain arrangement for drag-chain conveyors. The chain arrangement includes a round-link chain with vertical chain links, horizontal chain links and pushers fastened on horizontal chain links. The pushers engage with pusher projections into the respective horizontal chain links. The outer radius of the chain link arc members of the vertical chain links is selected smaller than the inner radius of spherically-shaped recesses in the pusher projections. The resulting play ensures that the pushers travel without jamming and enter without problems into the guide surfaces of the upper portion of the conveyor trough of the drag-chain conveyor.
