摘要： It is provided a communication apparatus connected to first and second wireless networks which performs handover between the first and second wireless networks, including first and second wireless functional units which obtain connection states and wireless quality of the wireless networks. A transmitter and a receiver of the first wireless functional unit are activated, a transmitter of the second wireless functional unit is deactivated, a receiver of the second wireless functional unit is activated and the wireless quality of the first wireless network and the second wireless network are obtained when a connection between the first wireless functional unit and the first wireless network is in a connected state. The transmitter and the receiver of the first wireless functional unit are deactivated, the transmitter and the receiver of the second wireless functional unit are activated and the data suppression process is canceled after the completion of the handover.

RANs that belong to different subnets and are adjacent to each other use messages to exchange ColorCode, IP addresses of base station controllers, wireless resource information of base station transceiver subsystems and the like. When the RAN receives, from an AT, a message having ColorCode that is different from ColorCode of the RAN, the RAN transfers the message to a base station controller included in the RAN having ColorCode that matches the ColorCode included in the message.

In the network system, the DHCP server of a network-information management server assigns information to a network-information management table when receiving an assignment request of IP information and network management information from a client. The DHCP client of the client obtains the IP information and the network management information from the DHCP server. The SNMP agent of the client reports to a monitoring server that the network management information has been set. The SNMP manager of the monitoring server determines that the network management information has been set, the monitoring control section of the monitoring server records information of the client in a monitoring control table, and starts monitoring the client.
