    摘要: Improved concrete form systems (10) are provided which permit erection of the systems (10) in close quarters adjacent existing structures, e.g., the systems (10) may be successfully installed with as little as 2-½ inches of clearance between such existing structures. The systems (10) include spaced apart outer and inner wall sections (12, 14) each formed of juxtaposed, interconnected form panels (16, 18, 20, 22), with connection assemblies (24, 25) serving to interconnect the adjacent form panels (16, 18, 20, 22) of each wall section (12, 14), and to cross-connect the wall sections (12, 14). Each form panel has a planar panel segment (26) having side marginal connection structures (48) preferably including concave surfaces (50, 52). The connection assemblies (24, 25) have elongated connection elements (58, 82) having central openings (60a) and laterally extending legs (62, 64) which mate with the surfaces (50, 52) A series of elongated, threaded connector bodies (72) extend through the element openings (60a) and are threadably secured via threaded ferrules (70) forming a part of the elements (58), and nuts (84) forming a part of elements (82). The threaded connection of the bodies (72) serves to draw together the adjacent form panels (16, 18, 20, 22) by virtue of a camming action between the legs (62, 64) and the surfaces (50, 52). Such threaded connections also cross-connect the wall sections (12, 14).

    摘要: An improved concrete form (20) is provided having spaced apart, opposed, multi-panel wall sections (22, 28) interconnected by connection assemblies (68). Each wall section (22, 28) is made up of at least two form panels (24, 26, 30, 32) which are placed in side-by-side, abutting relationship. Each form panel (24, 26, 30, 32) has a planar panel segment (34) with a pair of projecting, apertured sidewalls (42) secured to the outer surfaces (38) thereof. Each segment (34) has a series of recesses (62) formed in the butt edges (60) thereof outboard of the proximal sidewalls (42), so that when the form panels (24, 26 or 30, 32) are adjacent each other, a series of through-openings (64) are cooperatively defined by the recesses (62). The connection assemblies (68) include an elongated, threaded connector (70) of length to bridge the wall sections (22, 28) and to present threaded end segments (78, 80) extending beyond the wall sections (22, 28). Connection clip assemblies (74, 76) are threaded onto the ends (78, 80) of the connectors (70) to interconnect the panels (24, 26 and 30, 32) as well as the wall sections (22, 28).

Threaded connection of the bodies (72) serves to draw together the adjacent form panels (16, 18, 20, 22) by virtue of a camming action between the legs (62, 64) and the surfaces (50, 52). Such threaded connections also cross-connect the wall sections (12, 14).

    摘要: An assembly (20) for releasably interconnecting a pair of concrete form panels (22, 24) having adjacent, apertured walls (30) is provided which completely eliminates loose parts and significantly reduces panel setup and knock-down times. The assembly (20) includes an elongated pin (38) axially shiftable between extended and retracted positions, as well as an elongated connection arm (88) of length to bridge the adjacent walls (30) and engage the remote surface of the wall (30). An operating mechanism (42) is operatively coupled with pin (38) and arm (88). A latch assembly (96) serves to releasably maintain the pin (38) and arm (88) in their respective positions. Preferably, the pin 38 is mounted on a body (36) shiftable along a track (46); the latch assembly (96) is also supported on the body (36) to insure that the operating mechanism (42) can be properly latched in the retracted and extended positions of the pin (38). Also, the pin (38) is pivotally secured to the body (36) so that the pin (38) may be selectively pivoted from its normal operative position to a clearance position transverse to the axes of the openings (30).
