Abstract:
In a banking application system including numerous banking applications, a data management framework allows for the generalized storage and subsequent access of result data. Through the application of the framework to the raw processing data generated by one of the banking applications, the result data is stored in a general storage location. Through this framework, the data is then readily accessible by all other banking applications. This framework includes a header field, characteristics data and key figure data. This removes proprietary restrictions on the data itself and thus makes it available to the other applications, increasing cross-system efficiency by allowing other applications to access and subsequently use the result data.
Abstract:
In an embodiment, a method is provided for utilizing a meta-model semantic network. In this method, a meta-model of the enterprise data is obtained. The meta-model provides semantic information regarding a definition of a business object. The meta-model is then used to generate a rule definition that maps enterprise data to a semantic object definition and a semantic relation definition. With the rule definition, embodiments may then generate a semantic object and a semantic relation from data extracted from the enterprise data. The semantic object and semantic relation are stored in the meta-model semantic network.
Abstract:
A system and method for evaluation of simulated hedging relationship assignments. A processor may, in response to an inputted selection of a simulated hedging relationship assignment, calculate at least one effectiveness value for the simulated hedging relationship assignment.
Abstract:
A method, machine readable storage medium, and system for providing a self learning semantic search engine. A semantic network may be set up with initial configuration. A search engine coupled to the semantic network may build indexes and semantic indexes. A user request for business data may be received. The search engine may be accessed via a semantic dispatcher. And based on the access, search engine may update the indexes and semantic indexes.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a data link between a first computer (1) and a second computer (2) for transmitting data. The aim of the invention is to provide a data link which is configured in such a way that non authorized third parties are not able to influence said data transmission or to find their way from the outside to one of the computers and to tamper with data. The inventive data link comprises a lock element (6), a first lock gate (7) being placed between said first computer (1) and said lock element (6) and a second lock gate (8) being placed between said second computer (2) and said lock element (6). The first lock gate (7) is closed when the second one (8) is opened and vice-versa.

Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for processing information (20, 21, 22, 23) in connection with the preparation and/or development of objects by spatially distributed planning groups, the information relating to the current state of preparation and/or development. In order to enable creative working in spatially distributed planning groups, it is proposed that the apparatus (1) have the following components: at least one output apparatus (3a, 3b) for reproducing the information (20, 21, 22, 23) at each location (2a, 2b); at least one server (4) for processing the information (20, 21, 22, 23); at least one connection apparatus (5a, 5b) for connecting the output apparatuses (3a, 3b) and further participant terminals (6, 7) at each location (2a, 2b); a data communication network (8) for connecting the connection apparatuses (5a, 5b) to the server (4); and means (10) for processing the information (20, 21, 22, 23) in such a manner that information (20, 21, 22, 23) manipulated using a terminal (6, 7) or in another manner is automatically reproduced in real time on all output apparatuses (3a, 3b) at all locations (2a, 2b).
