    摘要: An electronic device having antenna structure is provided. The electronic device includes a first body, a pivot assembly, a second body and an antenna structure. The pivot assembly is pivoted to the first body along a first axis. The second body is pivoted to the pivot assembly along a second axis. The antenna structure is disposed in the pivot assembly and has a first radiation portion, a second radiation portion and a third radiation portion. The first radiation portion and the second radiation portion have a slot therebetween to form a slot antenna. The third radiation portion forms a monopole antenna and is aligned to the slot. The third radiation portion and the slot are not coplanar.

The first antenna has a function of transmitting a wireless signal and is disposed on a first side of the electronic device. The second antenna is disposed on a second side of the electronic device. The first sensor detects whether a first object is around the first antenna and generates a first sensing signal according to a detecting result. The signal processing module generates a first control signal according to the first sensing signal. The antenna control module switches the function of transmitting the wireless signal from the first antenna to the second antenna.

    摘要: An electronic device and a power saving method thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a network module and a power saving module, wherein the network module connects to an access point (AP). The method includes executing an AP search operation at a predetermined time interval by the network module, and determining whether the electronic device is in a specific state by the power saving module. The method also includes disabling the network module from executing the AP search operation as long as the electronic device is still in the specific state. As a result, the unnecessary AP search operations can be avoided, and the purpose of saving power can be achieved.

    摘要: An electronic device and an antenna reception tuning method thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a first main body, a second main body, a sensing unit, and a processing unit. The second main body, including an antenna and a matching unit, is disposed on the first main body through a hinge and adapted for being opened or closed relative to the first main body. The sensing unit is disposed on the electronic device, adapted for detecting a distance between the first main body and the second main body, and generates a control signal according to the distance, wherein the distance includes an angle and an open/close state between the first and the second main bodies. The processing unit is electrically connected to the sensing unit and the matching unit, and adjusts the matching unit according to the received control signal.

The antenna module includes a circuit board, a proximity sensor and a sensing antenna patch. The circuit board is disposed in the housing, and has a top surface and a bottom surface opposite to the top surface. The circuit board has a communication antenna pattern on the top surface. The proximity sensor is mounted on the bottom surface. The sensing antenna patch is assembled on the inner surface of the housing and electrically connected to the proximity sensor. An orthogonal projection of the communication antenna pattern on the inner surface overlaps the sensing antenna patch on the inner surface.
