Abstract:
Disclosed therein is a guitar string regulator. The guitar string regulator includes: a regulating lever (12) having a worm gear part (11) disposed at one side thereof; a casing (14) having a joining tube (14b), which has a male screw portion (14a) penetrating through the head (5), and a bearing portion (14c) formed on a lower portion thereof for receiving the worm gear part (11) and supporting rotation, of the worm gear part (11); a rotational rod (15) penetrating through the casing (14) and having a winding portion (15a), which is concavely formed at one side thereof for winding a string, a guide hole (15b), which is formed in the winding portion (15) and penetrates through the joining tube (14b) for inserting the string (W) thereinto, and a spur gear (15c), which is disposed at a lower portion thereof for rotating the rotational rod (15) in engagement with the worm gear part (11); and a nut (16) joined to the male screw portion (14a) of the casing (14) for fixing the casing (14) from the head (5), wherein the rotational rod (15) has a through hole (15d) formed at the center of the rotational rod (15) for inserting the remainder of the string (W) wound on the winding portion (15a) thereinto, The guitar string regulator can prevent interference by the cut end of the string, prevent the player from getting scratched or pricked by the cut end of the string, and can always make the head part of the guitar clean because the cut end of the string of the guitar is guided into the through hole formed in the rotational rod as soon as the string is cut close below the case after the remainder of the string penetrates through the through hole of the rotational rod.
Abstract:
A method of driving a display panel includes outputting odd-numbered and even-numbered gate signals having a first gate-on voltage during a first period, outputting first data of odd-numbered and even-numbered horizontal lines in response to the odd-numbered and even-numbered gate signals having the first gate-on voltage, outputting odd-numbered or even-numbered gate signals having a second gate-on voltage during a second period, wherein the second gate-on voltage is lower than the first gate-on voltage, and outputting second data of the odd-numbered horizontal lines in response to the odd-numbered gate signals having the second gate-on voltage, or outputting second data of the even-numbered horizontal lines in response to the even-numbered gate signals having the second gate-on voltage.
Abstract:
For a sensor network having reference nodes and sensor nodes, A method and apparatus using a distance determining algorithm for a sensor network having reference nodes and sensor nodes. A distance determining algorithm is executed to determine an adequate distance between reference nodes within a preset error range, and a position location table is created. A sensor node sends a location information request to reference nodes, receives the position location table and location information from the reference nodes, and computes the coordinates of its position. Alternatively, without requesting transmission of the position location table, the sensor node may receive calculated coordinates of its position directly from a reference node.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a direct backing type LED backlight apparatus which supplies a white light source by mixing monochromatic LEDs to a display device. The backlight apparatus includes a first LED row composed of red LEDs disposed adjacent to opposed peripheries of a substrate with green, blue and red LEDs alternately disposed between the red LEDs at the peripheries. The backlight apparatus also includes a second LED row having a similar arrangement of LEDs with blue LEDs disposed adjacent to the opposed peripheries. The backlight apparatus regulates the amount of radiation from the red and blue LEDs to be smaller than the amount of radiation from the rest of the LEDs. This allows elimination of color deflection at the peripheries of a light guide panel.
Abstract:
A display apparatus and a method of operating the same are provided. The display apparatus includes a wireless communication device, and a display unit that receives a main clock and is operated by an operating frequency in response to the frequency of the main clock, and a main-clock-providing unit that measures noise in signals received from a wireless communication channel, and changes the frequency of the main clock to reduce the noise.
Abstract:
A side-emission type LED package is provided. The LED package includes an LED chip, a lower structure, and an upper structure. The lower structure has a lower mirror and a transparent sealing member. The lower structure supports the LED chip. The lower mirror is extended upward and outward@ from the LED chip so as to reflect light from the LED chip upward. The transparent sealing member is formed around the LED chip inside the lower mirror. The upper structure is combined to an upper portion of the lower structure so as to reflect the light reflected upward by the lower structure to a radial lateral direction. As described above, the lower structure and the upper structure are separately provided and combined with each other, whereby molding efficiency of the sealing member is improved and the side-emission type LED package can be manufactured in an easy manner.
Abstract:
A surface light source device having LED clusters arranged in a matrix of rows and columns on a board. Each of the LED clusters includes red, green and blue LEDs arranged in a triangle. The LED clusters are grouped into A, E, C and D, which have the red LEDs located top, right, bottom and left, respectively, from a center of the triangle. The matrix of the LED clusters includes alternating first and second type rows arranged repeatedly from top to bottom of the matrix, terminating with the second type row. The first type rows each have first type cluster arrays of the LED clusters arranged in a repeating order of E, C, D and C from left to right. The second type rows each have second type cluster arrays of the LED clusters arranged in a repeating order of A, D, A and D from left to right.
Abstract:
An edge-type backlight unit having a plurality of rows of red, blue and green LEDs to provide a light source. In the backlight unit, a light guide plate has a light incidence part formed on a side surface thereof to receive light, the light guide plate inducing the light from the light incidence part to be emitted through a top surface of the light guide plate. A light source is disposed near the light incidence part of the light guide plate, and includes a plurality of red, green and blue light emitting diodes along the light incidence part. The light emitting diodes are grouped into at least three rows according to color. Here, the row of the green light emitting diodes is arranged most adjacent to the top surface of the light guide plate.
