摘要: A carriage assembly includes a primary frame, a first idler wheel mounted to the primary frame, and a secondary frame pivotably mounted to the primary frame. The carriage assembly further includes an idler wheel assembly coupled to the secondary frame and movable with respect to the secondary frame along a longitudinal axis of the idler wheel assembly. 摘要: A powered stump grinder at the center front of a walk-behind machine is disclosed. The grinder machine has a front cutter head assembly pivotally connected to the walk-behind machine by a central pivot assembly connected to the center front part of the frame or body of the machine. The central pivot assembly includes a vertical pivot axle/axis, for lateral movement of the connected front cutter head assembly. Generally horizontal hydraulic cylinders, extending between a frame or body of the stump grinder and left and right lateral portions of the pivot assembly, pivot horizontally and extend and retract to control lateral movement of the connected front cutter head assembly by pivoting the pivot assembly, which in turn pivots the connected cutter arm, and hence, the cutter head assembly.

摘要: Disclosed devices, systems, and methods allow an operator to maintain the speed of a vehicle's propulsion devices at selected speeds, and allow the operator to make adjustments to the selected speeds during or prior to operation of the vehicle. Disclosed embodiments can comprise adjustable limiters that are coupled to the control portion of the vehicle adjacent to or on the speed control levers. This allows the operator to hold the levers against a new limiting surface to keep the vehicle moving at a speed that is less than full speed with minimal aberration and less effort needed by the operator. The device can be adjustable to a range of positions corresponding to different speeds. The devices can also be selectively pivoted or moved out of the way of the speed control levers at any time to allow the levers to have their full range of motion.

A shaft coupling system can include an annular mounting housing positioned around a juncture of two rotational shafts with bearings positioned between the shafts and the housing so that the housing prevents radial motion of the shafts while allowing the shafts to rotate about their common axis. One shaft can be coupled to an engine and the other shaft can be coupled to a shaft-driven device such as a hydraulic pump. One shaft can be smaller in diameter and piloted into a recess in the end of the other shaft. In some embodiments, the two shafts have about the same diameter and are linked via a torque coupler within an annular mounting housing that allows rotation but limits radial motion of the shafts.

The tensioning system can include an actuator and a biasing member. The tensioning system can be configured such that when the continuous track is driven in a first direction the actuator is inactive and the biasing member maintains tension in the continuous track, and when the continuous track is driven in a second direction the actuator is active and applies force to the pivotable idler wheel to maintain tension in the continuous track.

摘要: Disclosed herein are devices, systems, and methods that allow an operator to maintain the speed of a vehicle's propulsion devices at selected speeds that are less than full speed, and allow the operator to make adjustments to the selected speeds during or prior to operation of the vehicle. The device can be adjustable to a range of positions corresponding to different speeds, and each lever can have its own limiting device to set an independent modified-maximum speed for each propulsion device of the vehicle.
