The obturator allows for decoupling the projectile from the rotation of the rifled barrel by use of a static band, a front slip band, a rear slip band and a slip disk. 摘要： The present invention is an electrical slip ring device comprised of a stator, a rotor and an independent rotationally free brush ring. The brush ring may include a multitude of slipping fingers, chevrons or other current carrying structures that extend between the rotor and the stator. These current carrying structures have a directional bias or “lay”. The rotational freedom of the brush ring enables bi-directional movement of the rotor with reduced torque and wear at the sliding interfaces because sliding always occurs in the direction of the lay.

摘要： A torsion bar restraint system for tracked combat vehicles that aids in the improvement of occupant survival rates when associated with asymmetric threats. The blast mitigating restraint system can reduce the dynamic deflection of torsion bars based on the severity of the blast impulse as needed. Systems comprise one or more components that secure the torsion bar to the hull for protecting against dynamic deflection and lateral displacement. The two disclosed components, an end restraint device and an M-Ring restraining device, can be used in conjunction or independently from each other based on the type of threat likely to be encountered.

摘要： A projectile that includes strakes mounted about the perimeter of the midsection of the projectile and a pusher plate assembly mounted about the aft of the projectile so that a sub-caliber projectile may be fired from a larger caliber gun. The pusher plate assembly forms a seal with the bore at the aft end of the projectile. The strakes maintain the center line position of the projectile within the bore. The pusher plate assembly further designed to fragment upon exiting the bore while the strakes remain with the projectile to enhance aerodynamic qualities of the projectile in flight.

摘要： An interrogator plug for interfacing with the output socket of a pulsed power system to provide external leads engagable by a volt measurement device. The interrogator plug is sized to replicate a conventional plug such that the interrogator plug can be inserted into the output plug. The interrogator plug has lead assemblies positioned to engage the contacts of the output socket ordinarily engaged by conventional plugs. The interrogator plug can also include a divider circuit linked to a coaxial output for providing a reduced voltage current having an operational voltage safely measurable by conventional voltmeters.
