摘要: The invention proposes a process for the production of a container made from glass, in the form of a hollow body open on both ends for pharmaceutical and medical applications, in particular in the form of a syringe barrel, where a glass drop (14) is dispensed from a melting unit, is placed into a mold (12) that is driven to rotate, and is formed by the effect of the centrifugal force, the mold being driven at a rotational speed of at least 5000 rpm, preferably approximately 50000 rpm.
