摘要： A self-pulling corkscrew is provided. The corkscrew includes a body comprised of a first arm extending downwardly from a central portion and a second arm extending downwardly from the central portion. The first and second arms each having an inner surface and an outer surface wherein the inner surfaces of the first arm and the second arm cooperatively define a bottle receiving cavity. The corkscrew further includes a first groove traversing at least a portion of the outer surface of the first arm and a second groove traversing at least a portion of the outer surface of the second arm. One of either the first and second grooves has a first depth at a proximate end of the groove and a second depth at a distal end of the groove. The corkscrew is further comprised of a sleeve, a handgrip and a screw. The sleeve is slidably engaged with the first and second arms and has a first inwardly projecting protrusion and a second inwardly projecting protrusion. The first protrusion cooperatively engages the first groove and the second protrusion cooperatively engages the second groove. The handgrip is attached to the body proximate the central portion, and the screw is coupled to the handgrip. The screw extends into the bottle receiving cavity between the inner surfaces of the first and second arms.

The system includes at least one set of rules corresponding to the at least one template or order, wherein the set of rules includes instructions which insure that a user enter complete information into the at least one template or order as required by the specified order format. The templates or order may be further comprised of components and/or subcomponents which can be stored separately. The data fields in the orders, templates, components, subcomponents, etc. may reference specification grades which can in turn be easily modified to update one or more orders, templates, components, subcomponents, etc. simultaneously.

摘要： A microinjection pump for administration of fluid pharmacological compounds to unrestrained and freely behaving animals is provided. The micro-pump employs a screw drive mechanism that is actuated by a small stepper motor. The pump moves fluids by direct mechanical displacement from two micro-syringes arranged in parallel. The drive mechanism incorporates a threaded central drive screw that is attached to the stepper motor drive shaft, The threads of the central drive screw engage the threads of two parallel, but oppositely turned (left hand turned and right hand turned) threaded rods. By the frictional action of the helical threads of the threaded drive screw with the threads of the threaded rods the threaded rods are moved linearly and depress the plungers of the attached micro-liter syringes. Medications are administered to animals through flexible tubing. An attached electrical swivel allows power to be delivered to the pump motor while allowing the micro-injector to pivot and move with the animal without binding or twisting the flexible tubing.

Alternatively, a command line generator may be used to allow a user to enter commands to generated and/or modify templates and orders. In one embodiment, preexisting data or information may be imported in the form of electronic information and be converted to populate data fields in an order, template, components and subcomponents, etc. A data processing mechanism may also be used to import electronic information from external media into the at least one template or order.
