    Abstract: The disclosure relates to an angle-measuring assembly for acquiring a pivot angle between a motor vehicle and a trailer coupled to the vehicle by a detachable coupling, wherein the coupling comprises a first coupling element connected to the tractor vehicle and a second coupling element connected to the trailer, having a measured value generator associated with the coupling for generating a magnetic field, having a measured value sensor associated with the coupling for acquiring the magnetic field, and having an analysis unit for determining the pivot angle in dependence on the magnetic field acquired by the measured value sensor. The measured value generator and the measured value sensor are both arranged on the first coupling element or the second coupling element. A magnetic field manipulator is arranged on the second or the first coupling element, opposite to the measured value generator and the measured value sensor.

    Abstract: An object identification system comprises a transceiver (1) and a transponder (30) including memories (33,34) for storing an identification code identifying the transponder. Circuits (35, 36, 37, 38) generate an identification signal representative of the identification code such that the identification signal is modulated by bits of the identification code. Circuits (8, 9, 10, 11, 12) of the transceiver receive and interpret the identification signal. The transponder includes a variable code generator (32) and a controller (31) for controlling the writing of the variable code into memory (33) so that the variable code constitutes part of the identification code. The variable code may be a random or pseudo-random code.

    Abstract: A three row drying cylinder group for a drying section of a paper machine or the like. The bottom cylinder row felt only passes through the bottom row. The top cylinder row felt passes from the top row, wraps the first middle row cylinder as a deflection element, passes over the next top row cylinder, and then is guided so that the opposite side of the top felt passes the next middle row cylinder and is guided back to the top row to alternate between the two ways of passing the middle row cylinders. Those middle row cylinders which are deflection elements may be heated or not and may deliver suction or vacuum to hold the web to the felt.
