摘要: An electronic balance devised so that the weighing pan of the balance may settle down fast to make the balance indicate a correct value of measurement quickly without being long disturbed by the air turbulence arising when the door of the weighing pan protecting chamber of the balance is opened and continuing for a while after the door has been closed. This electronic balance is provided witha heater on the base portion of the weighing pan protecting chamber so that the heater is located just below the door of the chamber. The heater generates hot air streams rising upward therefrom along the outer surface of the door. When the door is opened, the air streams play a role of an air curtain to prevent a possible air exchange between the hotter chamber warmed by the electronic circuit of the balance and the cooler surrounding atmosphere.

摘要: There is disclosed a weighing scale in which a non-Roberval type load cell is used to detect a weight to be measured. The load cell used consists of two parallel cantilevers with the free ends connected to each other through a connecting means and of four strain gauges applied to the cantilevers by sticking every two of the four strain gauges on two separate positions in the longitudinal direction of each of the cantilevers. The four strain gauges constitute a bridge circuit which outputs the weight value of a weight placed on a weighing tray connected to the two cantilevers so that the center of the tray is positioned above the center of the plane made by the two cantilevers. According to this invention the weighing errors due to an eccentric or uneven weight loading on the tray are automatically eliminated on account of the structural symmetry of the load cell used. The difficulties in manufacturing a Roberval type precision load cell have finally be put out of the way by the present invention.

The plurality of second beams extends substantially in parallel with each other and in a second extending direction substantially perpendicular to the first extending direction of the plurality of first beams. The second movable pillar is connected to the first movable pillar. The detector is configured to detect the load electrically via a movement of the first movable pillar.

摘要: A force measuring instrument for determining the strength of an applied force by measuring the strength of an electromagnetic force developed so as to counterbalance the applied force, the instrument including a force coil, a displacement sensor for detecting any displacement occurring on a scale balance, an analog arithmetic unit for performing PD operation of analog detecting signals sent by the displacement sensor, a pulse converter for converting the analog signal into a signal having a frequency depending upon the magnitude of the analog signal, an up/down counter for counting up or down pulse signals from the pulse converter depending upon the polarity of the analog signal, a D/A (digital-to-analog) converter for converting the number of counts by the up/down counter into an analog signal, and wherein the sum of the output of the D/A converter and the output of the analog arithmetic unit is fed back to the force coil, thereby ensuring that the counts by the counter alone are used to determine the measurements.
