摘要: A system and method for monitoring data traffic on a MIL-STD-1553 data bus system with a data guard. The monitoring system includes a data guard, which may be toggled between a passive mode and an active mode using two switches. In the active mode, using a first switch, data traffic from remote terminals on the MIL-STD-1553 data bus system are placed on a guarded bus of the data guard system and sent to the data guard by way of a coupler for filtering data messages through a plurality of pre-generated data set rules. If the data traffic is validated, it is returned to the MIL-STD-1553 data bus system through a second coupler. In the passive mode, the data traffic is directed to a transparent bus by way of a third coupler using a second switch, thus allowing the MIL-STD-1553 data bus system to operate without latency concerns.

摘要: A system and method for providing media access control for networked nodes over a plurality of channels. Each channel is divided into a number of time slots per frame of data organized in a channel allocation schedule. The number of time slots is selected for each channel and is greater than or equal to one per second. Each time slot has a slot transfer rate equal to or less than the maximum channel transfer rate. A server receives a request for channel resources that includes a bandwidth requirement. At least one time slot in a channel corresponding to the bandwidth requirement over a frame time is identified and sent to the requesting node.

摘要: A system and method is disclosed for providing dynamic tactile feedback. A tactile feedback generator is mounted in each vehicle in a group of vehicles and is coupled to provide a controllable tactile feedback signal to an operator of each vehicle in the group of vehicles upon receipt of an activation signal. A tactile feedback control device is mounted in each vehicle in the group of vehicles and is coupled to the tactile feedback generator for selectively providing an activation signal and a tactile feedback characteristic signal thereto. An accelerometer is positioned within each vehicle in the group of vehicles. A turbulence processing unit is coupled to receive accelerometer data from each accelerometer. The turbulence processing unit processes the accelerometer data to identify characteristics of a current level of turbulence-induced vibration, and, based thereon, selects and provides updated tactile feedback characteristics to each tactile feedback control device.

摘要: A system and method for providing active real-time characterization of an article under test. A first scan assembly moves an infrared light source and an first visible light source so that a beam of coherent infrared light and a first beam of visible light move across a surface of an article under test in a raster pattern. A second scan assembly moves a visible light camera, a visible light second harmonic generation camera, an infrared camera, an infrared second harmonic generation camera, and the sum-frequency camera so that each camera receives a respective predetermined return beam of light from the surface of the article under test. A processor receives signals from each camera and generates an image of mechanical properties of the surface of the article under test based on such signals.

摘要: An apparatus includes multiple microphones to generate audio signals based on sound of a far-field acoustic environment. The apparatus also includes a signal processing system to process the audio signals to generate at least one processed audio signal. The signal processing system is configured to update one or more processing parameters while operating in a first operational mode and is configured to use a static version of the one or more processing parameters while operating in the second operational mode. The apparatus further includes a keyword detection system to perform keyword detection based on the at least one processed audio signal to determine whether the sound includes an utterance corresponding to a keyword and, based on a result of the keyword detection, to send a control signal to the signal processing system to change an operational mode of the signal processing system.
