Abstract: A system is provided comprising a processor part of a family of different types configured for executing a common instruction set, the processor types differing in terms of a number of multiplication units. A method for using the processor is also presented including: a. receiving a specific instruction defining a multiplication type to be applied to a first input data element and a second input data element; b. deriving a number of multiplication cycles for executing the specific instruction at least in part by processing: (i) cardinality information corresponding to the multiplication units for processor, and (ii) the multiplication type defined by the specific instruction; c. executing the specific instruction by repeatedly using the multiplication units of the processor for a number of cycles corresponding to the derived number of multiplication cycles. A method for selecting the specific processor amongst the family of processors based on one or more criteria is also presented.

Abstract: A mounting system for use with standing seams has a first side member with a mounting interface, a first foot, and a first aperture. A second side member of the mounting system has a first spacing arm, a second spacing arm, a second foot and a second aperture. The system may include a fastener extendable through the first aperture and the second aperture to secure the first side member to the second side member. Abstract: A method for making a rapid prototype of a patient's mouth to be used in the design and fabrication of a dental prosthesis. The method takes an impression of a mouth including a first installation site having a dental implant installed in the first installation site and a gingival healing abutment having at least one informational marker attached to the dental implant. A stone model is prepared based on the impression, including teeth models and model markers indicative of the at least one informational marker. The model is scanned. Scan data is generated from the scanning. The scan data is transferred to a CAD program. A three-dimensional model of the installation site is created in the CAD program. The at least one informational marker is determined to gather information for manufacturing the rapid protocol. Rapid prototype dimensional information is developed. The rapid prototype dimensional information is transferred to a rapid prototyping machine which fabricate a rapid prototype of the patient's dentition as well as a dental implant analog position.
