The face cover comprises a plurality of moguls arranged in a mogul array with each mogul positioned in front of and proximate to a corresponding one of the pixels so that the mogul covers at least a portion of the corresponding pixel, and one or more light-emitting openings in each mogul, each positioned relative to one or more corresponding light-emitting element of the pixel to permit light emitted from the corresponding one or more light-emitting elements to pass through the mogul.

    摘要: According to implementations of the subject matter described herein, there is provided an image colorization solution. The solution includes determining a similarity between contents presented in a grayscale source image and a color reference image and determining a col or target image corresponding to the source image based on the similarity. Specifically, a first and a second sets of blocks similar and dissimilar to the reference image are determined based on the similarity; a first color for the first set of blocks is determined based on a color of corresponding blocks in the reference image; a second color for the second set of blocks is determined independently of the reference image. Through this solution, it is possible to provide user controllability and customized effects in colorization, and there is no strict requirement on correspondence between the color image and grayscale image, achieving more robustness to selection of color reference images.

    摘要: This disclosure relates to preserving a quantum state in a quantum memory. A controller of the quantum memory determines based on a characteristic of noise that causes deterioration of the quantum state a dynamical decoupling base sequence. The duration of the base sequence is shorter than or equal to an access latency time of the quantum memory to allow access to the quantum state within the access latency time. Further, the deterioration of the quantum state is bounded to an upper deterioration limit when the base sequence is repeatedly applied to the quantum system. This provides acceptable access times while simultaneously allowing long term storage of data in the quantum state with low error rates. Repeatedly applying the base sequence to the quantum system will first yield an increasing deterioration but that deterioration will eventually reach the upper limit. As a result, over time the error rates will not exceed that upper limit and the quantum state is stable.

    摘要: A system and method for automatically adjusting the operating parameters of a rate-adaptive cardiac pacemaker. In accordance with the method, maximum exertion levels attained by the patient are measured at periodic intervals and stored. The stored maximum exertion levels may then be used to update a long-term maximal exertion level, and the slope of the rate-response curve is adjusted to map the updated long-term maximal exertion level to a maximum allowable pacing rate. The stored maximum exertion levels may also be used to update a sensor target rate which is used to adjust the slope of the rate response curve.
