    Abstract: What is provided is a method and apparatus wherein a rotating and reciprocating swivel of adjustable stroke length and shearable by ram blow out preventers can be detachably connected to an annular blowout preventer thereby separating the lower wellbore from the riser. In one embodiment the mandrel of the swivel extends through a sleeve/housing. The sleeve/housing has a wiping arrangement of improved configuration that wipes debris from the mandrel, preventing entry of the debris into the sleeve/housing. Ports enable discharge of the removed debris from the area of the sleeve/housing.

    Abstract: A sound bar having a mounting assembly configured to pivotally secure the bar. The sound bar includes an elongated, at least partially hollow, housing. The housing has a body extending between two opposing ends. A speaker array is positioned in the body. At least one speaker is positioned in at least one end of the bar. The end speaker(s) are preferably bass speakers in fluid communication with the hollow housing. A grill is preferably positioned over at least one of the housing ends. The grill preferably has a center hub affixed to an outer rim by spokes defining open spaces in the grill to facilitate the emission of sound. A mount is attached to the sound bar to secure the bar to a structure while allowing the bar to pivot along its longitudinal axis. Preferably, the mount is secured to the center hub of the grill.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for disposing of drill cuttings 500 from an oil and/or gas well drilling platform 510, comprising (a) transporting the drill cuttings 520 to a cuttings collection area 530 on the platform 510; (b) providing a barge 10, the barge 10 having at least one storage area 30, a cover 100 operably connected to the at least one storage area 30, and covering the at least one storage area 30; (c) placing the cover 100 in a first open state so that cuttings 500 can be placed in the at least one storage area 30; (d) transporting the drill cuttings 500 from the cuttings collection area 530 to the at least one storage area of the barge 10; (e) placing the cover 100 in a closed state so that the cuttings 520 in the storage area 30 of the barge 10 are contained; (f) transporting the barge 10 from the drilling platform 510 to a collection site 540; (g) placing the cover 100 in a second open state so that the cuttings 520 in the storage area 30 can be removed; and (h) removing the cuttings 520 from the storage area 30.
