    摘要: The acoustic waveguide has a flexible metal rod with a cylindrical waveguide rigidly attached to each end of the same through a conical acoustic concentrator. One cylindrical waveguide is capable of being attached to an electroacoustic transducer and the other cylindrical waveguide is capable of being attached to an acoustic oscillation receiver. The structure provides for the enhanced functional capabilities of the acoustic waveguide by utilizing it in devices operating under conditions of high temperature, radiation, strong electromagnetic interferences and other negative factors.

    摘要: The glycemic index is determined based on the results of blood glucose concentration measurements by evaluating time Δt from the beginning of food-related increase of blood glucose concentration until the peak of glucose concentration is reached, after which maximum increase ΔGmax of said glucose concentration is determined over the given period of time. Thereat, the glycemic index of food is defined as a ratio of maximum increase of blood glucose concentration ΔGmax versus maximum increase of said glucose concentration in case of pure glucose intake in the amount equal to carbohydrate content of the consumed food, which is proportional to the product of ΔGmax by Δt. The invention substantially simplifies the procedure for measuring the glycemic index of real food and facilitates the development of simple personal devices for monitoring carbohydrate metabolism.

    摘要: A device for processing scrap rubber has a reactor with a screw conveyor disposed inside a heating chamber, a thermal decomposition unit, burners, a condenser, a cyclone filter, and devices for discharging solid residue and removing a gas-vapor mixture. The reactor has two sections connected in parallel. The thermal decomposition unit has screw conveyors in each section, the conveyors have axial heating pipes with a coil. Along the length of the conveyors plates are arranged at the corners of an equilateral triangle in contact with and perpendicular to the side surface of the heating tube. A cylinder furnace with an evaporator and a burner is connected to the ends of the pipes. An outlet of the condenser is connected to a liquid fraction separator, inlets of the coils are connected to an outlet of the evaporator, and an inlet of the evaporator is connected to an outlet from the separator.

    摘要: A handsaw contains a blade and a handle, in which a cavity is made for inserting a marking pencil into it for the purpose of operative use thereof while in operation. The said cavity is provided with a bushing of resilient material to fix the pencil inside wherein the outlet opening of the bushing is smaller than its inlet opening. The presence of such a bushing of resilient material, tightly enclosing the body of the pencil allows the pencil to fix in the handle. In addition, it prevents the falling the shortened pencil inside the said cavity in the handle of the handsaw. It allows the pencil to use until it reaches the least possible length.

    摘要: A device and method for direct optical recording of security-related objects without optically imaging elements is disclosed. Direct optical recording of skin prints and documents, wherein interference through ambient light is excluded, is met by a sensor layer with TFT technology arranged on a substrate layer transparent at least in the visible wavelength range. Light-sensitive elements of the sensor layer have a distance from the object of less than the mean pixel spacing defined by the pixel grid and have in each instance a control of the exposure time. A primary light-emitting layer is constructed to illuminate the object by at least light portions from direction of the sensor layer through the placement surface. All layers of the layer body located between primary light-emitting layer and placement surface transmit at least portions of light in the visible wavelength range.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for measuring the lifetime of an excited state in a sample, in particular a fluorescence lifetime, and to an apparatus for carrying out such a method. First, an excitation pulse is generated and a sample region is illuminated with the excitation pulse. Then, a first digital data sequence is generated which is representative of the power-time profile of the excitation pulse, and a first switching instant is determined from the first digital data sequence. Moreover, the detection light emanating from the sample region is detected by a detector, and a second digital data sequence is generated which is representative of the power-time profile of the detection light, and a second switching instant is determined from the second digital data sequence. Finally, the time difference between the first and second switching instants is calculated.
