摘要： A communication device, method, and computer program product reduce power consumption when one or more transmit chains can be inactivated without unsatisfactory uplink communication quality in single data layer transmit diversity (TxDiv) or multiple input multiple output (MIMO) mode. The communication device monitors uplink signal quality of the uplink data stream while connected in single layer mode to a base node using multiple transmit chains. The controller device deactivates transmit chain(s) while the uplink signal quality remains satisfactory. The controller re-activates the inactivated transmit chain(s) in response to the uplink signal quality becoming unsatisfactory.

摘要： An electronic system, a method, and a computer program product generate an image stream with spherical background effects for multiple participants presented in a shared virtual venue during a video call. The method includes generating a composite image stream of the first foreground image superimposed at a first assigned location and a second foreground image superimposed at a second assigned location on a spherical background image. The method includes communicating the composite image stream to first and second electronic devices oriented to respective first and second vantage points associated with the first and second assigned locations of a virtual venue presented within the spherical background image. The method includes rotating the spherical background image relative to the first and the second vantage point presented to a respective display device of the first and the second electronic devices in relation to movement of a corresponding first participant and second participant.

摘要： A communication device, method and computer program product provide multiple simultaneous camera previews of different imaging modes of the same image. The communication device includes a communication subsystem that receives a photographic image stream from a second communication device. The communication device includes a display driver that presents content on a display device. A controller of the communication device is communicatively coupled to the display driver. The controller simultaneously presents the more than one camera previews on the display device. The communication device presents a particular imaging mode of the photographic image stream corresponding to the particular camera preview that is user selected. The communication device transmits, via the communication subsystem to the second communication device, a report of a user selection by the at least one user input device, of the particular imaging mode of the photographic visual stream that is being presented on the display device.

The method further includes generating and presenting an incident response UI that instructs the operator of specific sequence of steps to take in response to the incident and to complete an incident information gathering process. The method further includes automatically transmitting/uploading a notification of the incident to an incident management server.

摘要： An electronic device, computer program product, and method are provided that autonomously switch between first and second image streams of two image capturing devices during a video communication session, reducing data transmission and display size requirements for recipients. A controller of the electronic device identifies a person in the first image stream and identifies a writing surface in the second image stream. In response to determining that the person is not attending to the writing surface, the controller communicates, to at second electronic device(s) during the video communication session, at least a first portion of the first image stream that focusses on a face of the person. In response to determining that the person is attending to the writing surface, the controller communicates at least a second portion of the second image stream that focusses on the writing surface.

摘要： An electronic device includes a capacitive driver that is electrically coupled to a pair of conductive plates coupled to a housing and electrically isolated by a dielectric material. The conductive plates are positioned to change relative orientation in relation to deformation of the housing in a first direction. A controller identifies a first capacitance of the pair of conductive plates associated with the housing being in a normal alignment relative to the first direction. The controller presents an object on a user interface device in a first kinematic state. The controller detects, via the first capacitor driver, a change in capacitance from the first capacitance to a second capacitance of the pair of conductive plates. The controller associates the change to a first user input. The controller presents the object on the user interface device in a second kinematic state based on the first user input.

摘要： A communication device provides selective subject-based presentation of a received segmented video feed. A processor receives the video feed from a video presentation session and determines that the video feed is a subject-based segmented video feed having a primary segment within which a primary subject is presented, and at least one secondary segment having at least one secondary subject. The segments can be individually selected for local presentation on a display device. The processor determines a user preference for local viewing options of the video presentation session from among (i) presenting the primary segment and the secondary segment, (ii) presenting only the primary segment, and (iii) presenting one or more of the at least one secondary segments, but not the primary segment. The processor provides a resulting video feed on the display device presenting only content of specific segments of the received video feed that correspond to the user preference.

A request is detected, via a processor, to transition to a video communication session between the first communication device and a second communication device. The first communication device receives, from the second communication device, first context identifying data that identifies which of at least one front facing camera or at least one rear facing camera to activate. The first context identifying data is generated at the second communication device based on information within the exchanged communication. At least one front facing camera or at least one rear facing camera identified by the received first context identifying data is selected and activated.

摘要： A management system controls environmental conditions to facilitate operating state changes of individual information technology (IT) equipment within a data center. A management controller accesses a specification data structure containing environmental conditions specified to enable each one of the IT components to function in operational operating state(s). The management controller determines a temperature range specified in the specification data structure for a first IT component that is scheduled to transition into a first operational state. The management controller adjusts a temperature set point of supply air provided by the data center to the first IT component to be within the temperature range. In response to determining that the interior air temperature is within the temperature range, the management controller triggers activation of the first IT component into the first operating state.
