    摘要: A communication device, method, and computer program product reduce power consumption when one or more transmit chains can be inactivated without unsatisfactory uplink communication quality in single data layer transmit diversity (TxDiv) or multiple input multiple output (MIMO) mode. The communication device monitors uplink signal quality of the uplink data stream while connected in single layer mode to a base node using multiple transmit chains. The controller device deactivates transmit chain(s) while the uplink signal quality remains satisfactory. The controller re-activates the inactivated transmit chain(s) in response to the uplink signal quality becoming unsatisfactory.

The method includes receiving an input identifying an occurrence of an incident associated with a shipment entity, the shipment entity being one or more of a vessel, an operator, and a cargo being transported via the vessel. The method includes, in response to the input, presenting on a user interface (UI) of an operator mobile communication device (MCD) one or more selectable incident reporting options to activate incident response, data recording, and reporting (IRDRR) protocols. The method further includes generating and presenting an incident response UI that instructs the operator of specific sequence of steps to take in response to the incident and to complete an incident information gathering process. The method further includes automatically transmitting/uploading a notification of the incident to an incident management server.

    摘要: An electronic device includes a capacitive driver that is electrically coupled to a pair of conductive plates coupled to a housing and electrically isolated by a dielectric material. The conductive plates are positioned to change relative orientation in relation to deformation of the housing in a first direction. A controller identifies a first capacitance of the pair of conductive plates associated with the housing being in a normal alignment relative to the first direction. The controller presents an object on a user interface device in a first kinematic state. The controller detects, via the first capacitor driver, a change in capacitance from the first capacitance to a second capacitance of the pair of conductive plates. The controller associates the change to a first user input. The controller presents the object on the user interface device in a second kinematic state based on the first user input.

    摘要: A communication device provides selective subject-based presentation of a received segmented video feed. A processor receives the video feed from a video presentation session and determines that the video feed is a subject-based segmented video feed having a primary segment within which a primary subject is presented, and at least one secondary segment having at least one secondary subject. The segments can be individually selected for local presentation on a display device. The processor determines a user preference for local viewing options of the video presentation session from among (i) presenting the primary segment and the secondary segment, (ii) presenting only the primary segment, and (iii) presenting one or more of the at least one secondary segments, but not the primary segment. The processor provides a resulting video feed on the display device presenting only content of specific segments of the received video feed that correspond to the user preference.

    摘要: A method, a first communication device and a computer program product for selecting an active camera from a front facing camera and a rear facing camera for use during a video communication session. A request is detected, via a processor, to transition to a video communication session between the first communication device and a second communication device. The first communication device receives, from the second communication device, first context identifying data that identifies which of at least one front facing camera or at least one rear facing camera to activate. The first context identifying data is generated at the second communication device based on information within the exchanged communication. At least one front facing camera or at least one rear facing camera identified by the received first context identifying data is selected and activated.
