摘要: A smart seating system is described. In one embodiment, the smart seating system may be integrated into a chair or seat, or may be a cushion that is placed on a seat. In one embodiment, the smart seating system uses one or more sensors to monitor the user. In one embodiment, the sensors may be sufficiently sensitive to monitor the user's respiration and heart rate, as well as whether the user is sitting or not. In one embodiment, the smart seating system can be used to monitor a user's breathing and heart rate. The system may be used to control stress in an office environment, in one embodiment. In addition to controlling stress, the smart seating system may be used to coach users to more healthful behaviors.
