摘要: A method and apparatus for displaying information. The method comprises: determining a field of view of a user viewing an environment via a display of a display device; using the field of view, determining a focal region of interest of the user in the environment; providing a database comprising a list of objects and, for each object, a location of that object in the environment; using the list of objects and a location of the focal region in the environment, identifying one or more of the objects that are at least partially located in the environment in or proximate to the focal region; acquiring information related to the identified one or more objects; generating an image element comprising the acquired information; and displaying the generated image element on the display of the display device through which the user is viewing the environment.

摘要: Methods of forming an environmental barrier coating are disclosed. A method includes disposing a powder-based coating on a substrate, heat-treating the powder-based coating at a temperature greater than 800° C. and less than 1200° C. to form a porous coating that includes surface-connected pores, infiltrating at least some of the surface-connected pores of the porous coating with an infiltrant material to form an infiltrated coating, and sintering the infiltrated coating at a temperature greater than 1200° C. and less than 1500° C. to form the environmental barrier coating on the substrate.

摘要: An additive manufacturing apparatus that includes a vat configured to receive a radiant-energy-curable resin and a method for using the vat. A floor defines at least a first portion and a sump wherein the first portion is above the sump. The first portion defines a build surface, at least some of which is transparent. A stage is positioned facing the build surface and is configured to hold a stacked arrangement of one or more cured layers of the radiant-energy-curable resin. One or more actuators are operable to change the relative positions of the vat and the stage. A radiant energy apparatus is positioned adjacent to the vat opposite to the stage and is operable to generate and project radiant energy on the radiant-energy-curable resin through the floor of the vat in a predetermined pattern. The additive manufacturing apparatus also includes a cleaning apparatus operable to transfer debris from the build surface to the sump.

摘要: A combustor includes an outer liner, an inner liner, an annular cowl joining upstream ends of the outer and inner liners, and an annular deflector configured to shield the cowl from hot combustion gases in a combustion chamber defined between the outer liner, the inner liner and the deflector. The cowl has at least one opening for introduction of fuel and compressed air. The deflector includes at least one swirler. The cowl defines at least one axial cowl hole, and the deflector defines at least one corresponding axial deflector hole, wherein the corresponding deflector hole and cowl hole are configured to receive a fastener for fastening together the cowl and the deflector.
