摘要: The method allows stabilizing the rotation speed of a hydraulic machine with S-characteristics. It is implemented by means of a control loop feedback system having a controller for calculating an orientation to affect guide vanes of the machine. It includes steps of calculating a set of internal states associated with the operating point of the machine, establishing a linearized transfer function in function of the set of internal states, calculating characteristics parameters of the controller in function of the established transfer function so that the control loop feedback system is stable, measuring the rotation speed of the hydraulic machine, comparing the measured rotation speed with a target rotation speed, and adjusting the orientation affected to the guide vanes so as to reduce the speed difference between the calculated rotation speed and the target rotation speed.

摘要: A method for reducing grid line artifacts in an X-ray image is disclosed, which includes acquiring an X-ray image by scanning an object, wherein the X-ray image comprises grid line artifacts; decomposing the X-ray image into a high frequency image and a low frequency image, wherein the high frequency image comprises the grid line artifacts; filtering the high frequency image to reduce the grid line artifacts in the high frequency image so as to obtain a filtered high frequency image; and combining the filtered high frequency image with the low frequency image to reconstruct an output image. A system adopting the above method is also disclosed.

摘要: A multistage centrifugal pump includes a housing, a rotatable shaft and first and second turbomachinery stages. The first turbomachinery stage includes a first diffuser connected to the housing, a first impeller connected to the rotatable shaft. The second turbomachinery stage includes a second diffuser connected to the housing and a second impeller connected to the rotatable shaft. The multistage centrifugal pump further includes an integral axial load and bearing system that includes at least one diffuser bushing and at least one impeller bearing. The integral axial load and bearing system permits the independent axial movement of the first and second impellers. The integral axial load and bearing system also provides an opposite force to up-thrust and down-thrust produced by the first and second turbomachinery stages.

摘要: A downhole assembly is provided for use in well restimulation, the assembly having a plurality of perforation blocking sleeves each comprising an anchoring device; one or more expandable members secured to an external surface of each of the perforation blocking sleeves; a running tool for transporting the plurality of perforation blocking sleeves and expandable members within a perforated well casing; a running tool driver for moving the running tool, perforation blocking sleeves and expandable members within the well casing; and one or more sensors to detect perforation clusters within the well casing. The anchoring device is used to secure each sleeve over a perforation cluster within the well casing. Each perforation blocking sleeve defines a flow channel in fluid communication with the principal flow channel of the well casing. The running tool is remotely uncoupled from the blocking sleeves in sequence, and the running tool and the running tool driver are retractable through the flow channel of each the perforation blocking sleeves.

摘要: A system includes a resonant sensor in contact with oil within a gearbox of a rotor system, such as a wind turbine, and one or more processors. The sensor includes electrodes and a sensing circuit that generates electrical stimuli having frequencies applied to the oil at different times during a life of the gearbox. The processors receive electrical signals from the resonant sensor representative of impedance responses of the oil to the electrical stimuli. The processors analyze the impedance responses and determine a concentration of a polar analyte in the oil at different times. The processors calculate a degradation value for the gearbox based on the concentration of the polar analyte. Responsive to the degradation value exceeding a designated threshold, the processors at least one of schedule maintenance for the rotor system, provide an alert to schedule maintenance, or prohibit operation of the rotor system until maintenance is performed.

摘要: Cam actuated valves for compressors including mechanisms for changing an instant when the cam actuated valve is opened and/or a time interval during which the cam actuated valve is in an open state within the time range of a compression cycle. A reciprocating compressor has: a body including a compression chamber; a cam having an oblong portion, being located inside the body and being configured to be rotated around a rotation axis, to perform a rotation during each compression cycle; an actuating element located inside the body and configured to receive a linear displacement or an angular displacement due to the oblong portion of the cam; and a valve located on a flow path of the fluid toward or from the compression chamber and configured to be switched to an open state by the actuating element. The reciprocating compressor also includes a controller configured to adjust timing of the valve.
