摘要: The present disclosure describes porous GaN layers and/or compliant substrates used to enable relaxation of previously strained top layers and the deposition of relaxed or partially relaxed on top. Relaxed In GaN layers are fabricated without generation of crystal defects, which can serve as base layers for high performance long wavelength light emitting devices (LEDs, lasers) solar cells, or strain engineered transistors. Similarly, relaxed AlGaN layers can serve as base layers for high performance short wavelength UV light emitting devices (LEDs, lasers) solar cells, or wide bandgap transistors.

摘要: Provided are methods for synthesizing metal nanowires in solution using an organic reducing agent. A reaction mixture can be provided in solution with a metal salt, the organic reducing agent, and a solvent, where the solvent includes a surface ligand or consists of a surface ligand. The organic reducing agent, such as benzoin, can be decomposed in the reaction mixture to form organic free radicals that reduce metal ions of the metal salt into metal. The surface ligand of the solvent can coordinate with the metal in a manner so that metal nanowires are formed in solution. The diameter and morphology of the nanowires, reaction speed, reaction yield, and other features may be tunable by adjusting parameters such as reaction temperature and chemistry of the reducing agent.

摘要: Cross-modal association (CMA), such as cross-modal signal segment association, is described for associating structural vibration and wearable sensors. This includes an Association Discovery Temporal Convolutional Network (AD-TCN) that determines the amount of shared context between a structural vibration sensor and associated wearable sensor candidates from the parameters of the trained model. CMA achieves improvements in AUC values, F1 scores, and accuracy over relevant baselines. In at least one embodiment, the vibration sensor is associated with a physical structure, the wearable sensor is associated with a person, and the modules estimate association between vibration sensor signals and a person who induces the vibration sensor signals interior to the structure.

摘要: A system for computational localization of fibrillation sources is provided. In some implementations, the system performs operations comprising generating a representation of electrical activation of a patient's heart and comparing, based on correlation, the generated representation against one or more stored representations of hearts to identify at least one matched representation of a heart. The operations can further comprise generating, based on the at least one matched representation, a computational model for the patient's heart, wherein the computational model includes an illustration of one or more fibrillation sources in the patient's heart. Additionally, the operations can comprise displaying, via a user interface, at least a portion of the computational model. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.
