    Abstract: In an example, a bed exercise system includes a foot pad and first and second elastic connectors. The foot pad includes a rigid support member. The first elastic connector has a first end coupled to a first lateral side of the foot pad and a second end for coupling to a support structure. The second elastic connector has a first end coupled to a second lateral side of the foot pad and a second end coupling to the support structure. When the second ends of the first and second elastic connectors are coupled to the support structure: (i) the foot pad is movable between a first position and a second position relative to the support structure, and (ii) a tension on the first elastic connector and a tension on the second elastic connector increases as the foot pad moves from the first position to the second position.

    Abstract: A system for use with a bed having a frame and a supporting surface includes a sheet having a bottom surface configured to be placed above the supporting surface and a top surface opposite the bottom surface, and a wedge having a wedge body with a base wall, a ramp surface, and a back wall, wherein the base wall has a base engagement member configured to engage a surface of the bed to form a selective gliding assembly that resists movement of the wedge with respect to the bed in a direction extending from the back wall toward the apex, and wherein the base engagement member is configured as a patch, the patch covering only a first portion of the base wall such that edges of the engagement members are spaced from edges of the base wall to allow a second portion of the base wall to be exposed.

    Abstract: A urine collection device includes a collection member extending from a proximal end to a distal end. The proximal end includes an opening that provides access to an internal cavity of the collection member. The internal cavity includes a first chamber in fluid communication with a second chamber. The urine collection device includes a spacer in the second chamber, a first attachment member extending from a bottom wall of the collection member at the proximal end, a second attachment member extending from a top wall of the collection member at the proximal end, and an outlet for egressing urine from the internal cavity of the collection member. The first attachment member defines an aperture. The collection member is suitable to (i) direct urine from the first chamber to the second chamber and (ii) direct the urine in the second chamber distally toward the outlet.
