Abstract: Electrically controllable hydraulic system for a vehicle transmission and method for controlling the same An electrically controllable hydraulic system (1) for a vehicle transmission comprises a pressure pump system (4a, 4b) and a subsystem (1A) comprising a transmission element (2) and an electrically controlled hydraulic pressure controlling module (1B) including a hydraulic valve element (15) for controlling a hydraulic pressure for actuating the transmission element (2) and an electromagnetically controllable operating element (21) for operating the hydraulic valve element (15). The subsystem (1A) and the pressure controlling module (1B) have a first and a second cut-off frequency (f1, f2) with f2>f1. The hydraulic system includes a driver circuit (32) for driving the pressure controlling module (1B) that comprises a full bridge circuit and a control circuit (42) for simultaneously controlling both switching elements of the driver circuit with a duty cycle according to an input value of the input signal (lset) dithered with a frequency (fdith) in the range (f1, f2).

Abstract: A powertrain for a vehicle is disclosed that includes an electromagnetic driving unit (10) and a transmission module (20) having a controllable clutch (21) the powertrain further includes a control system to control the electromagnetic driving unit and to control the clutch. The controller has a safety operational mode wherein it controls an engagement of the controllable clutch with a feedback loop in which a desired extent of engagement is positively correlated to a difference between an extent of slip as indicated by the slip indicator and a positive reference value for the extent of slip, wherein the slip indicator indicates the extent of slip with a sign that is the product of the sign of the difference between the rotational speed of the input shaft and a rotational speed of the output shaft and a desired driving torque sign.

Abstract: A hydraulic system for a vehicle transmission with at least two friction elements, the system comprising a first hydraulic circuit comprising a pump for supplying hydraulic fluid to the first hydraulic circuit. A flow restriction may be provided in the first hydraulic circuit between an output of the pump and a sump for providing leakage of hydraulic fluid into the sump. Further, a second hydraulic circuit comprising a second pump may be arranged, wherein the hydraulic pressure in the first circuit is higher compared to the second circuit. A flow control element operated using hydraulic pressure from the first circuit may be arranged for controlling flow/pressure in the second circuit. Further, the hydraulic system may be arranged for generating a line pressure, wherein an actuator for engaging a park lock system may be connected to the first hydraulic circuit for enabling direct actuation by means of the line pressure.
