    摘要: The present invention pertains to a process for the preparation of a fast-disintegrating tablet (30) containing a medicinal substance, comprising the steps of providing a fluid formulation comprising the medicinal substance, providing a solid element (100) having formed therein at least one cavity, (101) cooling the solid element (100) to a temperature below a freezing temperature of the formulation, filling the cavity with the fluid formulation, solidifying the formulation while present in the cavity (101) to form a solid pellet comprising the medicinal substance without actively shaping the entire surface of the pellet, taking the pellet out of the cavity and drying the pellet in a vacuum to obtain the tablet. The invention also pertains to a system for performing such a process and a package containing the resulting tablet.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of culturing bacterial organisms belonging to the family Anaplasmataceae in mammalian embryonic or fetal cells. In particular, the present invention is directed to growth of bacterial organisms belonging to the family Anaplasmataceae including organisms belonging to the Anaplasma, Ehrlichia and Neorickettsia genera. The bacterial organisms may be cultured in mammalian embryonic or fetal host cells including feline embryonic host cells. Bacterial material cultured according to the methods described herein may be used as the basis for vaccines against diseases associated with the Anaplasmataceae bacteria, or as the basis for diagnostic applications useful for diagnosing diseases associated with the Anaplasmataceae bacteria.

    摘要: The present invention pertains to a method to obtain McCoy cells persistently infected with Lawsonia intracellularis bacteria, comprising infecting McCoy cells with Lawsonia intracellularis bacteria, growing the infected McCoy cells in a suitable medium at an oxygen concentration less than 18% to arrive at a culture of McCoy cells infected with Lawsonia intracellularis bacteria, passing at least a part of the said culture to fresh medium, and without adding uninfected McCoy cells to the medium, growing the infected McCoy cells contained in the said at least part in the fresh medium at an oxygen concentration less than 18%, to obtain the persistently infected McCoy cells. The invention also pertains to the use of such persistently infected cells to grow and obtain these bacteria in purified form.
