    摘要: An apparatus for recording information in an optical-information recording media by holography includes a signal-light irradiation unit, a reference-light irradiation unit, a reference light angle adjustment unit, and a positioning unit for positioning irradiation positions of the signal light and the reference light. The optical-information recording media is divided into N (N≧2) recording regions, M multiplexed information can be recorded in the respective recording regions by the reference light angle adjustment unit which changes the angle of the reference light at M angles (θ1, θ2, . . . , and θM) corresponding to a multiplexing number (M≧2), management information for the M multiplexed information is multiplexed and recorded in the same recording region as a-th information (1≦a≦M) with a reference light angle θa, and the management information on all the N recording regions are recorded at a common reference light angle.

    摘要: Deduplication is executed in a storage device having low random access performance, such as an optical disk library. When an optical disk that is not inserted into an optical disk drive needs to be accessed in order to execute binary compare, data to be binary compared is stored in a temporary memory area in order to postpone the binary compare, and on the timing when the optical disk is inserted, the postponed binary compare is executed. Before second deduplication, which is deduplication between data to be stored in the storage device and the data in the optical disk library, is executed, first deduplication, which is deduplication between the data to be stored in the storage device and the data in the temporary memory area, is executed.

    摘要: It is an objective of the present invention to provide a technique, when using fixed-length run-length limit codes based on enumeration, that generates fixed-length channel bit words satisfying maximum run-length limitation using a simple configuration. A channel bit word processor according to the present invention includes an avoidance list that describes a difference between a user bit word satisfying a maximum run-length limitation of run-length limit code and a user bit word not satisfying the maximum run-length limitation. The channel bit word processor, if a user bit word does not satisfy the maximum run-length limitation, generates a channel bit word using a user bit word after the difference is added.

The moving part relatively moves the shielding part and the laser light so as to switch a region to which the laser light is applied from a first region of the shielding part to a second region thereof different from the first region, in order to prevent the liquid crystal from deteriorating.
