A request is received from a mobile device of a user to access a service center associated with a destination specific application on the mobile device. The request includes information entered by the user and associated with the request. An identification of a service center resource of the service center that matches needs of the user based upon the information entered by the user and a determination of an availability of the service center resource is made. A first communication is launched to a communications address associated with the mobile device and a second communication is launched to a communications address associated with the service center resource. The first communication and the second communication are bridged.

A described technique includes mapping a local network associated with a user to create a network map of one or more discovered devices that are communicatively coupled with the local network; determining device information about the one or more discovered devices, the device information including one or more device identifications corresponding to the one or more discovered devices; storing the network map and the device information in a profile associated with the user; and providing a centralized management interface for managing the one or more discovered devices. The interface can be configured to present information including the network map, the device information, and one or more notifications. The one or more notifications can be based on an analysis of the device information and the network map.

摘要： Technologies related to mobile communication devices are disclosed. A mobile communication device is identified, including identifying a unique identifier associated with the mobile communication device. An application is stored in firmware of the mobile communication device. The application is executed at boot-up and periodically when the mobile communication device is operating. Executing the application includes checking with a service to ensure that the mobile communication device is confirmed to be operational, including providing the unique identifier to the service. A confirmation is received that the mobile communication device is confirmed to be operational, and when so, waiting until a next check time for further processing. Upon receiving an indication that the device is confirmed to no longer be operational, a script is executed that locks the device, including creating a password, locking the mobile communication device with the password, and disabling a USB port that is included in the device.
