摘要: The high pressure seal is for use with submersible electric pumps employed in water treatment apparatus and with any other electrical device used under similar conditions. The high pressure seal provides a device for closing an opening in a wall of a housing containing high pressure water and for sealing around wires extending through the opening. The high pressure seal includes a hollow fitting for engaging within the opening in the housing, an insert having a number of bores extending through the insert for receiving the wires, and seal enhancing means including raised protrusions arranged internal to and annularly around each bore for sealing around the wires. The high pressure seal may alternatively include a solid fitting for engaging within the opening in the housing, a number of bores extending through the fitting for receiving the wires, and a ring shaped insert arranged in an annular groove arranged around each bore for sealing around the wires.

摘要: An apparatus for treatment of water for consumption comprises a main storage tank, a pump, a treatment reactor and a valve for controlling the flow of water from the inlet pump to the treatment reactor and from the reactor to a flush discharge and to a waste water discharge. The tank is basically cylindrical with two part cylindrical recesses parallel to the axis of the tank and lying along one side of the tank. Each recess receives a respective one of the cylindrical pump body and the cylindrical reactor body. The pump and reactor are therefore efficiently stored within the cylindrical surface of the main tank.

The separator includes a membrane which prevents flow of contaminants and allows flow of water such that raw water passing over the membrane passes through the membrane while contaminants are excluded. A gas injection system is used to inject gas into the contaminated water stream prior to entering in a concentration chamber.

摘要: An apparatus for treatment of water for consumption comprises a main storage tank, a pump, a treatment reactor and a valve for controlling the flow of water from the inlet pump to the treatment reactor and from the reactor to a flush discharge and to a waste water discharge. The tank is basically cylindrical with two part cylindrical recesses parallel to the axis of the tank and lying along one side of the tank. Each recess receives a respective one of the cylindrical pump body and the cylindrical reactor body. The pump and reactor are therefore efficiently stored within the cylindrical surface of the main tank. The valve provides five positions including a central closed position, two flush positions and two processing positions. These five positions are arranged by axial movement of a valve member along a cylindrical bore of the valve body. The processing positions are arranged at extreme ends of the stroke of the valve member so that the valve member passes through both flush positions before reaching the opposite processing position. The valve body has openings associated with each port and the valve member has annular recesses for providing communication between the various ports together with a longitudinal channel which communicates between others of the ports to provide the above five positions.

摘要: The water treatment apparatus utilizes membrane separation technology to separate clean product water from a contaminated water source. Chemical pretreatment of the raw feed water, chemical cleaning of the membrane separator(s), and chemical treatment of the final recovered product water required by conventional membrane separation apparatus are eliminated in the water treatment apparatus. The water treatment apparatus may treat raw feed ground water and surface water sources as well as waste water sources including those exhibiting oily wastes, high metal levels, organic wastes from sources such as textile processing, sewage waste streams, food processing, and others. The water treatment apparatus also reduces the problems associated with recirculation of the waste stream, reduces water wastage, and provides advantages in power and horsepower requirements. The water treatment apparatus comprises an external pressurized raw water source, a raw water inlet, a raw water filter, a main drive pump, a valve arrangement, water treatment means, an inverse flush system having a product accumulator tank and a inverse flow pump, a pair of separation tanks, a recirculation pump set, treated water output storage means, an external fast flush water supply, and a waste water discharge. Ducting connects these components and communicates water therebetween.
