摘要： An electrical feed-through, such as a PCB connector, involves a connector part that includes a housing from which first and second positioning flanges extend from opposing ends. A data storage device includes an enclosure base with which the electrical feed-through is coupled, where the base comprises an annular recessed surface surrounding an aperture that is encompassed by the electrical feed-through, and first and second recessed positioning surfaces extending in directions outward from respective longitudinal ends of the annular recessed surface, where each of the recessed positioning surfaces has a corresponding wall extending vertically therefrom. When assembled, each positioning flange of the electrical feed-through mechanically mates with a corresponding recessed positioning surface of the base, such that the position of the electrical feed-through is constrained by the walls of each recessed positioning surface.

摘要： A sled assembly for a storage array is disclosed. One example of the sled assembly includes a first rail extending between a first end and a second end and a second rail extending between the first end and the second end. The second rail is parallel to the first rail. Further included is an ejector body that is coupled to the first rail and the second rail at the first end. A first drive guide having a first pair of channels is provided. The first drive guide is disposed adjacent to and parallel to the first rail and interfaced with the ejector body at the first end. A second drive guide having a second pair of channels is further provided. The second drive guide is disposed adjacent to and parallel to the second rail and interfaced with the ejector body at the first end. A first drive and a second drive are configured to be disposed between the first rail and the second rail and respectively enabled to slide into and out of the sled assembly. The sled assembly is further configured for sliding into and out of the storage array. The first drive and the second drive are each configured for independent insertion or removal into and out of the sled assembly without removal of the sled assembly from the storage array.

A spindle motor coupled to the housing member supports a rotatable data recording disc with a plurality of data tracks and an outermost perimeter. The outermost perimeter has an average overall radius of 48.5 millimeters, mm responsive to the housing member being for a 3½ inch form factor HDD or an average overall radius of 33.5 mm responsive to the housing member being for a 2½ inch form factor HDD. The rotatable data recording disc further has an outermost data track at an average selected radius such that the difference between the average overall radius of the outermost perimeter and the average selected radius is more than 1 mm.

The display unit is accommodated in the holding compartment, and includes a display module, a transparent cover layer and a transparent adhesive tape. The transparent adhesive tape is configured between the display module and the transparent adhesive tape, and the transparent adhesive tape is adhered to the transparent cover layer. The transparent adhesive tape includes a flange portion extending beyond the display module, and the flange portion can be bent to secure the display unit to the case. The second surface is leaned against a back plate. The back plate comprises at least one hole. The flange portion passes through the hole and is bent to attach to a surface of the display module that is farther away from the back plate.
