摘要： A device is claimed for lifting camper bodies onto and off a truck bed. The lifting device includes a wheeled, substantially rectangular, support member having a pair of said frames connected at one of their ends by a back frame having a pivot bar and at the other end by a removable connecting bar. To each of the side frames, intermediate their ends, a pair of mechanical jacks having a rack tooth bar and a hollow post are vertically mounted. Brackets are removably fixed to the hollow parts for supporting the camper body during the lifting operation. This device is capable of independent and controlled lifting and also permits the camper body to be leveled and stabilized for use off the truck bed. Another feature is that when the camper body is being supported by the lifting device, it can be utilized and also secured against forced entry.

摘要： Disclosed is a wheeled trailer frame having an upper and lower deck. An auxiliary frame is adapted for attaching to the base of a conventional camper disclosure and carries wheels which are accommodated on ramp members detachably secured to the trailer frame. The camper can be moved onto the upper deck of the trailer from the side of the trailer, and a boat can be loaded, from the rear end of the trailer. The camper enclosure and boat can thus be loaded and unloaded independently of each other.

摘要： A removable boot for intercoupling the rear window aperture of a truck cab and the front facing window aperture of a camper carried by the truck is provided, the boot serving to afford communication between the truck and the camper. The boot is intended for use in conjunction with truck cabs having sliding rear windows, the boot being constructed to fit into a peripheral channel in the sliding window frame of the cab to the rear of the window itself. The boot includes a tubular plastic casing member with open ends. A two-piece metal frame is encased in the forward end of the tubular casing, so that it and the casing provide a hinge effect for easy installation and removal of the boot in the aforesaid peripheral channel in the sliding window frame of the truck cab. When the boot is in place, the window can still be opened and closed without in any way being impeded by the boot.

摘要： A weather protective skirt for sealing a space between a load unit carried on the open bed of a vehicle. The skirt consists of an elongated strip of weather resistant material carrying a strip of insulative material along one longitudinal edge and a magnetic strip along the opposite longitudinal edge. The edge carrying the insulative strip is permanently affixed around the periphery of the load unit adjacent the space to be sealed and the opposite edge is magnetically attached to the outer surfaces of the bed.

摘要： A vehicle having a power unit and a housing removably mounted with a break-open hitch assembly on the power unit. The power unit has an open top body that is covered by the housing. The front portion of the housing has an opening providing access between the interior of the housing and the driver-passenger compartment of the power unit, permitting full concurrent use of the housing and driver-passenger compartment. A wheel and axle assembly behind the power unit supports the housing. The hitch assembly has a first forwardly directed member and a second forwardly directed member articulately connected together. The members are releasably attached to cooperating structure on the power unit whereby the housing will initially swing upwardly so that the power unit can be readily detached from the housing.

摘要： A tie-down apparatus for a truck-mounted camper is disclosed herein. The truck frame comprises first and second longitudinally extending frame members with a bed operatively secured thereto. The camper means is mounted on the bed means with the apparatus of this invention maintaining the camper means in the bed. A first bracket is secured to the first frame member and extends outwardly therefrom with a second bracket being secured to the second frame member and extending outwardly therefrom. A flexible connection means connects opposite sides of the camper to the outer ends of the brackets. Each of the brackets comprises a support plate detachably secured to the frame member by top and bottom clamps. An elongated arm is pivotally secured at its inner end to the lower end of the support plate and extends outwardly therefrom with a second elongated arm being adjustably secured to the upper end of the support plate and extending outwardly and downwardly therefrom. The outer end of the second arm is secured to the first arm intermediate the length thereof. The flexible connection means is secured to the outer end of the first arm.

Quick detachment of the trailer and auxiliary supporting wheel means from the vehicle readily restores the vehicle to the normal appearance of the vehicle with a minimum of effort.

摘要： Camper tie downs for securing a camper to the side panels of a pickup truck. Different embodiments of camper tie downs each include a frontwardly projecting nose at the lowermost end of a main arm that angles toward one lateral side of the main arm. Two camper tie downs affixed to each truck side panel are used to anchor the camper against frontward and rearward shifting, tilting, and lifting relative to the bed of the pickup truck. A respective chain attached to the camper is anchored to each tie down by using a head bolt having a tilted head portion that mounts within an anchor hole in the camper tie down nose and is held therein by a threaded nut that engages the underside of the tie down nose.
