    Abstract: A harvesting device for harvesting fruit hanging from a plant, includes a frame which is displaceable in a transport direction and carries a loop-like conveyor track which can be driven in circular manner, and at least one harvesting bin connected to the conveyor track. The conveyor track lies in a plane which is substantially parallel to the transport direction and which lies at a first acute angle to the horizon in a direction transversely of the transport direction during normal use of the harvesting device. A method for harvesting fruit hanging from a plant, wherein the harvesting device is used.

    Abstract: A device (1) for thinning in fruit growing includes at least one support (3) connected to a tube (2) to which are connected to one or More flexible elements/whips (6), the support (3) connected by at least one plate (10) to an operating machine. The tube (2) is connected to at least one air compressor to supply at least air with variable pressure and/or flow rate to the tube (2), the tube (2) being crossed by the flow of air flowing in the one or more flexible elements (6). The flexible elements/whips (6) are hollow and are able to move when crossed by the flow of air, the movement of the whips modulated by compressed air. The whips (6) have a random oscillatory movement for striking the parts to be thinned with a modulated force depending on the pressure and flow rate of the air flow delivered.

    Abstract: A tarp system for controlling psylla and other orchard pests that includes two or more tarps sized and shaped to fit the width of an orchard row, a roller with handle, a container, oil, a pole apparatus for dislodging pests, and a broom. A method for using the tarp system includes grounding a first tarp below a tree, saturating a roller with oil in the container, rolling oil onto the tarp with the roller, and tapping tree branches over the tarp to dislodge pests on to the tarp, placing a second tarp slightly under the first tarp, sweeping debris from the first tarp to the second tarp, and disposing of the second tarp.

    Abstract: A shaking device for shaking a plant to harvest fruit carried by the plant. The shaking device includes a connecting frame for connecting the shaking device to a harvesting apparatus, a carrier for a shaker unit, displaceable in an oscillating manner, and a shaker unit connected to the carrier to engage with branches of the plant in order to shake the plant. The shaking device also includes a first mass driven by a first motor and a second mass driven by a second motor, and a transmission between the first and the second motor to couple the rotation of the first and the second motor. The first and the second motor are connected to the carrier, and the first and the second mass are eccentrically mounted on a respective axis of rotation to cause and transmit an oscillating movement upon rotation thereof.     Abstract: A shaped conveyor assembly configured for use in association with a harvester comprising a first side lower conveyor sub-assembly and a second lower conveyor subassembly. One or both of the sub-assemblies having a frame structure, a discharge assembly and a conveyor assembly. The frame structure has a gathering portion, an outward portion and a terminating portion. The gathering portion is positioned proximate the first end and spaced apart from the second end. The terminating portion is positioned proximate the second end and spaced apart from the first end. The outward portion extends therebetween, the outward portion being inclined in an upward direction relative to the gathering portion, and directed in an outward direction, thereby extending away from the channel, and away from the other one of the first side and the second side lower conveyor sub-assemblies.
